Hi, my name is Jacqueline and I'm a senior at Central Michigan University. A couple colleagues and I are doing an independent study trying to find out if your child's needs are being met in the school system. This is totally volunteer and I'm asking if any parents would be interested in filling out a survey helping us gather more research. Please let me know if you would be interested because it would help us out a lot in trying to make sure all students are giving the sources to meet your childs needs. Thank you!  ?

My son is just starting the special education services provided by our public school. He has autism and we are just finishing our first year of Kindergarden. It has been a nightmare, it seems like they are not really conserned with the things that are happening with him as an individual. they want to lump him up and push him through it really pisses me off that they wont make more of an effort with him so he can me mainstreamed. He is not what I would consider mentally retarted but he is not up to the bar either, I am to scared to home school him. It really puts me in a bind as a parent who just want the best for her little boy  =
