My neighbours daughter has spina bifida and has done so well! She has just finished a college course and is now living independently in a purpose built complex. Her mum (my neighbour) pops in to see her a lot and she has carers come by but she is so indepent and a massive inspiration to me. | Hi, im 21. Im in my 3rd yr out of high-school. I have spina bifida. Being in a w/chair doesnt bother me. Iam however having Serious probs getting support from my dad about education. I have chronic daily headaches also so being slow on and off is made worse. He thinks im lazy. My parents dont have a support network of other parents to know whats normal so in the process, im suffering depression.
