Hello Jade can I ask you as question.
My brother had a premature baby at 29 weeks. Where are we currently with advancements in growing a baby in the incubators as opposed to inside the womb? I know we have come a long way. I would like to know what to expect as far as possible potential problems? OR can they raise a baby outside the womb just as well?

| i was born at 25 weeks at 1 pound thirteen ounces. i am a successful college student i am not on my oxygen anymore. i am now 5'7 182 all muscle. i have very minor asthma, and a scar across my stomach. other then that im a normal kid. i have adhd but it is fairly minor and im on adderal. there is hope ↑ |

| Hi i just had my son four months ago he was only 25 weeker and he just got out of the hospital last tuesday he is still on oxygen and a puls ox. but so far he is doing great! Damaris it is a long road but you well get through it, just hang in there i went throught alot with him and i still am but praying helps and ill be praying for all of you! ↑ |

I am actually looking for support being that none of my preterm babies have survived and now at 13 weeks with a cerclauge I am scared to litterally get out of bed sometimes. | well about two weeks ago i gave birth to my son at 29 weeks.ive never been so scared in my life.i didnt even get to see him for 4 hours after.after a quick 2.5 hour labour and birth,he was put in a incubator and had a machine breath for him.after 7 misscarrages i thort that this was it.i was gonna lose my lil man.but hes doing ok now.tolarating feeds,growing big and strong.someone was watching over us that dae. ↑ |

| Hi Damaris, I'm so sorry to hear about your son. I myself was born at 25 weeks, I apparently made medical history, they changed the ventilator settings, because they weren't working on me, and now they use that technique all across the world. I'm 15, and i turned out fine, i have a husky voice but i can walk and talk, im not that good at p.e but i try. I'm actually pretty smart aswell. I'm sure your son will do just fine, my prayers are with you. ↑ |

| Hello, Does anyone the effects of premature babies later in life? My son was born 6 wks. early because probably my wife was desperate to have a child at age 39. Anyway, he's now 21 and still unable to function normally for his age. He can't help w/ chores like emptying the trash or cutting the grass. He has a part-time job at a grocery 12 hrs. per week. | my first child was born at 25 weeks she weighed 1lb 7oz i know what u and your family r going through as a mum u feel usless believe in yourself and u will get through the hard times talk to your baby do the babys cares this gives u that bond u need as they r to small to be cuddled it was the worst time in my life i believed in myself and my baby shes now 15 and amazing ihad my 2cd child at 32 weeks he was 3lb hes 11 now and also amazing u will get through this be stong and look after yourself my prayers and love to u and your family ↑ |

| Hello Damaris. My son was born at 25 weeks Gestation last November. He is my first child. He is now 10 and 1/2 months old. He was born at University of Colorado Hospital and stayed in the NICU for 3 and 1/2 months. We brought him home on his due date March 6th 2009. He still is on oxygen at night but other then that he is a happy healthy baby! I will say a prayer for you and your baby! How early was the child?
