Name: 4Ms [ Original Post ] My son is almost 16 months old and has Myelomeningocele Spina Bifida. Needless to say at 16 months he is constantly on the go, especially with an older brother who he desperately tries to keep up with. So he could get around more easily and independently his physical therapist recommended we purchase a TASH star car; however the company no longer makes them. I have been scouring the internet for a used star car. I checked EBay and Craig’s list to no avail. Also checked used medical equipment sites and cannot find any used star cars I am seeking any suggestions, or any kind of information on web sites/stores that sell used pediatric mobility devices, particularly the Star Car made by TASH. Good luck finding an actual Star Cart! WE finally had our daughter's Ortho Doc right for a Ready Racer by Tumble Forms. She is 20 months old with SB. After fighting with the insurance co. they finally paid for one after going to hearing. They tried to say it was excercise equipment, not for mobility. She loves her new car! At SB Clinic she watched some older boys wheelchair racing and has totally figured out how to use her car! Good Luck!! ↑
