| I was givin a level 2 ultrasound a week ago because there was a lt laterial ventical in my daughters heart and when i went to the level 2 they fuond a fold in her neck which will looklike a extra roll on the back of her neck unlike most people who jsut have 2. They said that the fold is another sign of my daughter haveing down symdorme and offered me a amnio. Im not going to do the amnio. But im going for the quad screening.. They said alot of babies that show these 2 signs b4 birth can come out normal. So either way im satisfied. If she has it im going to except her no matter what. ↑ |
| hi tara i'm 26 and have 5 kids myself my last born Hunta is now 1yro and has litten up my world like you would not belive he is so cute. | they wanted me me get tested to see wether my baby would have down syndrom and i didnt want to ...i am a 16 year old girl that is 24 weeks and just didnt quite feel well to get the needle to see wether it would..do u think my baby would have it?? ↑ |
| yeah had the same thing happen to me with my first preg. i was 16 weeks and my downs ratio was 1/50. So did the intense,long US and it didn't show any markers for downs so i decided not to do the amnio. At that point i was pretty confident that the baby was okay but i stressed until she was delivered, never again will i do that test. good luck to you; tHIS JUST HAPPENED TO A FRIEND OF MINE TOO, JUST TODAY SHE IS 15 WKS AND SHE IS 1/16 SHE HAS AN US ON MON. ↑ |
| Hi my name is dawn I am 13 weeks pregnant with baby # 5.. we had a ultra-screen done and found out the baby (NT) measured 3.9 my blood work came back giving us a 1-12 chance of having a baby with down syndrome we are very scared. has anyone ever had a good outcome. ↑ |
| hey i have a baby with downs she is a year old now it was very scarey to find out about she had it but she is like a normal one year old i'm pregnant again and this one barley moves i'm 20 weeks so i figure this one will have it to. Don't be scared there is nothing wrong with havin a baby with downs they are very loving ↑ |
| hey tara, i have no idea what amnio is i wouldn't do it . My little girl has downs and she is as normal as any other baby its the way you treat them is the way they turn out . i do not stay stuck up her bottom, its better for her to learn every way a baby with out it should i think . she is only 34% behind in her age which is really good she is little but we love her with all our hearts. ↑ |
