I got my hair cut over the weekend, and you know the way they make you lie your head back over the sink when they wash it? Well the stupid girl took about 15 minutes washing and conditioning my hair and it was agony lying my head over that sink. it was digging into the base my of neck the entire time. And now still 2 days later, I'm having banging headaches and pain when i touch the area. Anyone else have this problem after seeing the hairdresser???

i hate those sinks..i hate them..i wish them made them at more of an angle for our clients..the shop i work at are the worst and most uncomfotable also..i feel bad for our clients...also if your short or have a short neck..they are horrible..
Did she not have a towel down to make it more comfortable at least? = |

No! No towel at all. Just my neck against the hard sink ...

To be honest, it was more the base of my skull against the hard sink.

sounds like either you are too short for the chairs, have a short neck..or she didn't have you sit bacck in the chair all the way..
I know they are uncomfortablae..so i always tell my clients that..and make sure that they scoot up as far as possible..if not then they can lean their head over the sink.. = |

Definitely not too short for the chairs, but I'd initally had my neck on it, and she pushed my head down so it dug into the base of my skull. I was like OUCH and it was like that for 15 minutes till she was done. Slowest wash ever, and now I'm still aching. :( Moan moan moan

Nope this has never happened to me.... but my hair dresser is damn rough when shes washing my hair !!! it pulls and IT HURTS !!!
