I found a wonderful winery called Jost (pronounce YO-ST), locally in Nova Scotia. The balance of their wines (lightness/sweetness) is, to my taste, perfect. My favorite are Comtessa (red and white), Chablis.

They are in the very approachable price level ($13-15 a bottle). That's Canadian dollars.

What are your favorite wines, and how expensive? Would be nice to know what's best around the world.

I don't drink, anymore (since I'm an Alky) but I never did develope a taste for wine. I did like the Boones Farm wines though. For a while, when I had an ulcer and couldn't drink hard alcohol, that was all I could stomach. It's about as potent as beer though, and $2.00 a bottle.

St. Michelle Champagne, my favorite. Wine has begun to give me a head ache, so I mix white wine with good white grape juice. My guests love it.

I like anything in moderation because it seems like some sweeter wines make my stomach hurt.

My favorite wine is... Honey, it's been a week, can't we have sex already...LOL

After living in Kennewick Washington, we were truely blessed because there was over 100 different wineries with in 1 hour in any direction. It is the "new" sonoma valley, the growing season there was increadible!! The ice wines were to die for!!! It was so much fun to go to the local market & try a different wine, that you had never heard of before. Good times.

Since becoming pregnant, then breast feeding, it's just been the last couple of months that I've been able to drink again. But, now we live in Montana & there's not the selection. Oh well's my favorite Vodka is Kettel One....yummy

I really fun wine is from "The Magnificent Wine Company" ( www.magnificentwine.com ) is there "House Wine". There wines have not disappointed me. Don't be scared off by the label... it looks like a piece of white paper with black magic marker writing, but it's very good.

My ultimate favorite is Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling. I recently tried a 2005 cellar master's Riesling from the Columbia winery and loved it! I just love Rieslings in general but for the reds I like a good Zin.
