You could put all of the cupcakes together on a board and make them in the shape of an animal from the zoo and just ice them like a cake straight across and then pull them apart when the time comes!  =

that is a great idea! i don't know why i never thought of that. what would be cool is to have like brown, white, and black icing and then make a monkey head or something like that! thanks sooo much!  =

You are more than welcome! I hope that all goes well. You could also put animal crackers on them or something. And have you ever thought about making little drink covers shaped like animal shapes!  =

i'm not sure what you mean...maybe i'm being dumb...what are "drink covers"?  =

YOu take a sheet of paper and make a two slices in t the paper one at the top and one at the bottom. and that is where you slide the drinks in and they hold it on. in the center that is left on the outside you cut a rough shape of an animal or whatever and then draw in the details. so you have a drink cover! It is kinda neat.  =

get sprinkles and decorate the cupcakes in black and white (zebra) brown and yellow (tiger) pink and blue spotted, use your ring (call this one a pretty hippo LOL)
or
ice them the basic colour of an animal and get those icing writings from the supermarket and draw the outline of an animal (get some simple drawings on google)

have a great day :-)  =

I saw some that were very easy to make they were lions, dye your icing orange you can get candy corns and put them all the way around the sides at the edge of the cup cake you know w/ the pointed part hanging off the side if that makes sense....anyhow find candy for the eyes and get the pull and peel licorice for the mouth  =
