has anyone gotten theirs? we did direct deposit and ours is supposedly being direct deposited today but it's not there according to online banking. my husband says he thinks we might not be considered direct deposit because we bought one of those home tax programs and the direct deposit wasn't directly from the IRS - i won't be able to respond because i'm headed out to work now, but if anyone knows the deal i'd greatly appreciate a response... i will be able to read throughout the day, but prob. won't have time to respond so thanks in advance.!  ?

Some one made a similar post not long ago and I stated that hubby and I wasn't going to get one because of his income possibly being to high. WELL.... I was wrong! we did get one... last Friday... it went direct deposit to our checking account. We got way more then I thought we would have gotten.

Emma2~ My deposit went in late on Friday, in fact it was so late that I didn't even know we got it until Saturday. Also if your return was direct deposit to your account, then it was direct deposit from the IRS. The program you use is ear relevant, when you use any online tax program you have to log in to a IRS site to proses your return on line. Other wise your return would have been sent via the mail in a paper check form.  =

emma..if you had any fees taken out of your rebate to pay for your filing fees..or if your direct deposit wasn;t directly from the IRS you will have to wait for a paper check..this happened to us..

we were the first set of direct deposits..thought we were gonna get it on that day..and it didn't come..then found out through much research..now they have a notice of this on the IRS website because so many people we complaining of this happening..  =

thanks for your responses girls. i though mine would be direct deposited, but i guess it won't be because we did our own taxes and the money was actually transfered from some bank in california, not the irs -- this is the best i can figure anyway because it's still not in the bank and friday has come and gone. :( booooo! i wanted to go shopping for house stuff so bad this weekend too... oh well. for those that already got theirs i'm happy for you

momo -- so when do you expect yours to come then?

honestly i SWORE i wouldn't count on that money until i actually SAW it and then OF COURSE i got sucked into all the hype and started counting on it and now i'm disappointed.  =

accoding to the the schedule and the IRS rebate tracker it says it is due to be cut the 16 of may....but i am hoping they cut it already..just hoping..they said they were cutting a bunch of the checks starting with SSN numbers 00 thru 09 beggining may 09..and we start with 06..so crossing my fingers its in them mail..but i am not counting on it..so i am assuming not till the 16th....you can track it on the irs website  =

Emma I'm curious, what program did you use to file your taxes? I have never heard of a 3rd party tax filing program that went through a bank. I know theres a lot of tax programs out there but all the ones I have seen you have to log in to the IRS to use them or prepare them then log in and file.  =
