My son is seven months old and probably the most easy going of my three kids. But my god....you put him in the car seat and it is like someone is back there stabbing him!!! This happens on 97% of my outings with him and I'm about ready to loss it. It is awful beyond words.....PLEASE HELP! Has anyone experienced this and found a solution?

Yes,You described my son who is now 16 months old. I tried to time my outings with having a drink or snack or tried to interest him in some favorite toy .Sometimes it worked. Lately it's starting to get better. I think they just don't want to be restrained. Stroller was the same thing for a while.

but no....I cant offer any advice,
I used to just hold her down and strap her in, giving her a toy or food never pacified her.
