Name: Chris Title: Disney Fanatics!

Ok I'm in need of an opinion. Were are total Disney Fanatics we have been four times and are planning our next trip. Here is my question: We have a 9 yr old and a 3yr old and are planning on staying at either Animal Kingdom or the Contemporary does anyone have an opinion on which one would be better to stay at? And if so why? So far we have stayed at the Carribean Beach, Beach Club and the Polynesian. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!  ?

If your early birsd then Animal Kingdom is better than the Contemporary. If you like fancy living then the Contemporary, is your place.  =

I too am a Disney fanatic! I got the chance to work there a few years ago..what an experience that was!!! Anyways, I haven't stayed at either of the resorts, but I think the Animal Kingdom Resort would be pretty neat for the kids! I've heard there are animals right outside your room and heck, the resort is practically brand new! As far as hotels, I have only stayed at the Wilderness Lodge, which is also very nice! I think it's great that you are staying at a different hotel each time!  =

I would def say the animal kingdam lodge. The kids will love seeing the animals!

It is intresting my family and I have been to disney many times and have been to wilderness cabins and lodge, carribian, the old disney institute, pop culture, pop music, coranado but i have never been to either of those but i would also suggest animal kingdom.  =

I think you should definitely stay at the Contemporary for 4 reasons:
1. It's on the Monrail system which means that you're a stone's through away from Magic Kingdom - the best Park for the 3 year old especially - and another Monorail ride to Epcot, great Park for the 9 year old.
2. Very quick and easy to go back to your Resort in the afternoon for nap time if it's needed.
3. All the rooms have just been renovated - plasma TV's and all.
4. If the kids have a fear of loud noises, then you can get a room in the Tower on the Magic Kingdom side and watch the fireworks from your room.
