Recently, i took my two children to Japan with me on a business trip. I live on the west coast, so the flight wasn't such an issue. They absolutely loved it. They are older (13 and 14) so they were able to appeciate the different culture and lifestyle. They loved the shopping and the great cultural sites. If you have kids who are getting a bit older, check out Japan. It can be expensive, but staying outside of Tokyo can make it a viable alternative. ↓

| We did a simular trip to Bejing, China with 3 teenagers about 3 years ago and we all still talk about that trip. Like you said the sites, cultural differences, food oh just everything was like being on a different planet. We were stared at and people stopped us and asked to take our picture. We were at least a head above the crowd and blond so imagne the looks. We had gotten a great price of $800 each for air, hotel, breakfast, some other meals, tours, to and from airport. I can't say enough about how nice the people were. You can't go wrong. ↑ |
