Everytime I think I have grasped the idea of us having twins, someone always says something or I think about having 2 more carseats in the backseat or trying to push 3 carts in the store or whatever and I started getting anxiety again. I am happy God has blessed us with not one baby, but 2, but I am so nervous. That is going to be a LOT of diapers and little clothes to wash!!! I plan on breastfeeding them, which to most people would sound absolutely insane, but I think it will be easier than trying to chase our little girl (will be almost 3 when twins are born) plus holding one or two babies and trying to mix bottles of formula and end up spilling the powder on the counter and it getting wet and stuck to the counters, plus having SO many bottles to wash! UGH! It would easier to nurse them. I nursed my daughter for 15 months and it was so easy, after about the first month. Anyways, just had to get this off of my chest. It has been on my mind today.

Really early nesting? Today I have been cleaning SO much! I have completely gone through everything in both of our bathrooms, the kitchen cabinets and drawers, and papers on the computer room. I have swept & mopped floors, wiped down counters, washed dishes, vacuumed, dusted furniture, picked up toys, gone through the medicine cabinet. WHEW! I have been busy cleaning all day. I am about to be wore out too. I think I am going to take a break for a while. My sister-in-law and nephews and supposed to come over, actually they were supposed to be here a couple of hours ago, but she always runs late. LOL Tomorrow I have to babysit my friend's 2 kids but I think Saturday I am going to clean the computer room and my bedroom...that is going to take ALL day! I have so many clothes of all of our's to go through. I want to go through my daughter's old baby clothes and sort them out by month and put them in boxes so they will be organized. I am SO ANXIOUS to find out the sexes of the babies! I think I am going to have a boy and girl. I have been trying to think of names but none have popped up in my head that I like. Well, I think I am going to go take a shower while my little drama queen is taking a nap. I will add more later on.

UTI & Kidney infection
I found out today that I have a UTI and a kidney infection. UGH! I went to my family doctor since he is closer than my OB. He gave me Macrobid to take for 7 days. I have been hurting so bad in my lower back. Today has been so painful. I hope I start feeling better soon!
On a happier note, I bought some pure Vitamin E oil to start "bathing" myself with to help with the stretch marks. I want to start early this time. I got really bad ones when I was pregnant with my daughter. I especially need to start TODAY since it won't be long at all before I start showing, since we are having twins. I was looking up pictures of women that are pregnant with twins and it really scared me. Their bellies were so big, not fat, just BIG from babies. I got so big when I was pregnant with my daughter and I really don't want to get big this time. Oh, well, I am going to eat healthy and try to exercise as much as possible and watch my weight. I really want to find out the sex of the babies so I can start buying things. =) I think we are having a boy and a girl (they are fraternal twins). I am just not getting the vibe that there are 2 girls or 2 boys.
This is something that makes me laugh...the other night, my daughter was wanting to see the baby (she doesn't understand there are 2 babies in there) so she got me to lay down and she lifted up my shirt and was talking to my belly button. She said the baby was crying and needed a "paci" so she put the pacifier to my belly button, then it needed a "binky" (blankie) because she thinks everyone needs a blankie like her security blanket. She started saying it wanted some juice, so she went and got her sippy cup. It was so sweet and funny. Then, she hugged my tummy and said she was hugging the baby, or as she calls it, the "be-be." I just love her so much!

We're pregnant!
I found out on Friday, June 30, 2008 that I was pregnant. We weren't really "trying," but I guess it was just meant to be. We have a daughter that is 2 years old. She is very spoiled and very much of a mommy's girl. I was afraid that she wouldn't like having a baby brother or sister and understand that she has to share mommy and daddy sometimes. But, now seeing her around other babies, I think she is going to be great. I told her there was a baby in my tummy and she started looking in my belly button and sticking her finger in it and trying to "look" into it. LOL She is so funny. She has been carrying around one of her baby dolls and trying to put it in the highchair and feed it and take care of it. She even was sharing her security blanket with the baby doll...something she DOES NOT like to share at all. That is her favorite thing in the whole world, besides her mommy and daddy.
Anyways, I was having some bad pains in my lower abdomen last Friday (June 13) so I called my OB and they told me to come on in. They asked some questions and did an ultrasound and guess what we saw............TWINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it! My husband wasn't in the ultrasound room because he had our daughter in the waiting room. I got the nurse to go get him and when he walked in he almost fell to the floor when he saw TWO babies on the screen. This was completely unexpected for us to be pregnant with twins because there are no sets of twins on either sides of our families. This was a complete shock for us. Well, I better get going. Will update more later!
