Due date and still nothing!! In a perfect world you would have been born today. But according to various studies only 5% of babies are born on there due date. My day started out with you not moving this morning...so daddy was a little late for work because he decided to chat to you hoping you would make some kind of movement to calm both of our nerves. Unfortunately he had to leave and eventually you moved. Now I have all these new sensations (pain), but no water breaking and the contractions are still to far apart...then again I hope what I'm feeling is contractions.
I called Midwife Janine this morning to voice my concerns regarding you not arriving today...she said that you might come this weekend. But as my cervix hasn't dropped it might end up being a caesarian after all, and here I was so hoping for normal birth.

4 days to your due date!! So the appointment went well, according to the doctor you have not grown much since the last appointment and that is a good thing. His very against the induction as i probably mentioned previously so now we play the waiting game until friday. ...

10 months...7 days until due date!! According to the doctors news yesterday I am going to have to wait until you decide when you want to arrive. His totally against induction of any kind. That is a bit of a bummer for me as you are getting so big, but according to the doctor you haven't grown much since the last appointment which was a week past. Now we wait until my waters break as it seems the labor pains have slowed down. I've read up on all these methods to bring on labor naturally, and some scary stories of moms-to-be taking caster oil (that's a major no no) but think I will wait patiently...

TO INDUCE...OR NOT TO INDUCE!! Tomorrow is the big day where we find out if the doctor is going to induce labor seeing as I am moving into 39 weeks. You decided to give your dad and I a scare yesterday when you decided to be very quiet. No matter how many times I patted my tummy, played your favorite tune or got in a warm bath. Nothing worked. Eventually at 2 am you decided to make a little movement for us to know that everything is fine. Today was a totally different story, you were up the whole day...hopefully tonight you let me sleep. We can't wait until you are here. I know I keep talking as if you are already. Leela Phoi called your dad today as she heard that I was induced today and you and I were at the hospital. Everyone is so excited they can't contain themselves any longer.
