Goodness Susan, you will be growing a little linebacker there pretty soon!!!!! Isn't it amazing how even preemies can grow so quickly? My third was born at 34 weeks weighing 4lb9.25oz and she was up to 7lb12oz at only 12 days old! I doubt Jonathan even weighs that yet and he is 23 days old. You just can't keep them small though no matter how hard you try :(. Enjoy your bundle.
PS on the cereal thing, my mom fed me cereal in my bottle at 4 weeks old, it was the norm "back then". I survived :) Today the AAP's wait period of 4 months has to do with allergies mainly but it is definitely not on a case by case basis. I have always trusted my mommy's instinct when it was time. I have 5 healthy kids so far :)

I was thinking of supplementing my lil guy with some formula at night because he only sleeps for like 1 and half hours at a time and i am exhausted but everyone is giving me such shit about how bad it is.....
just one bottle at night thats all!

I just got all caught up with your journal. Talon is an absolute cutie! I cant get over how perfect he looks in his hospital photo. How were you able to get the link to that? Did you do that before you even got his pics back? I am sure I will find out just as soon as I have my new addition. Hope things get better for you with your hubby (MEN) They sure can piss you off cant they? Anyway good luck with everything sweetie.

Oh, sweetie.
I want to hug you. Post partum is hard...the worst of it should be almost over. Please hang in there. It's okay to cry it out, and I'm so sorry that Gary doesn't quite get it. But he will never in his entire life know what it feels like to feel completely overwhelmed by hormones. I hope that they let up for you a little bit (i had a total meltdown today too!) soon. Until they do, do what you can to baby yourself. Eat something really nourishing that you feel good about, or paint your nails (I know, I know, WHEN...i know...) or get out some yummy smelling lotion and put it on, or just sit and cry it out. It will pass....things won't always feel so BIG and ANNOYING.
HUG HUG HUG HUG!!!!
