Baby has arrived!

Pregnancy Journal

2006-12-13  (baby has arrived)
Baby arrived on 11/15

I just wanted to let everyone know that my son arrived on 11/15/2006 and he is officially 4 weeks today a month on the 15th of this month.  He is gorgeous and my delivery was awesome.  I don't have time to tell the story but I will after I finish finals.

I am scheduled to be induced on Tuesday!

The wait is finally over and I will be meeting my son on Tuesday sometime.  I have been 2 centimeters dialated for 2 weeks and my doctor feels that it would be better to just help me get the show on the road.  I have been in so much pain with having these contractions which are only really coming in my back.  I will be 38 weeks on tuesday and the baby has a great heart beat.  Chad and I have got everything we need and today we did a massive clean up job on our house since I will need to rest all day tomorrow.  The baby has dropped and his head is either -1 station or +2 I can't remember so he is in the perfect place. I am hoping that the doctor will just brake my water in hopes that will bring on strong contractions instead of giving me potocin.

Well, I am sure the next time I write the baby will be here!

Bye

36 weeks

It has been a while since I have written so here is the update on what has been going on...well the baby is still baking but hopefully not too much longer.  Everyone seems to think that I will be having this baby in the next week!  At my last doctors appointment the doc told me that he suspect that I would be going into labor in the next 2-3 weeks and that was over a week ago.  And those of you who have been keeping up with my journal you know that I have been dialated a cm for a month now.  My next appointment is tomorrow and I guess we will see how the little guy is doing.  At the last visit he was kicking and his heart rate was between 160-170 so that is really good.  The doctor said that he was about 6 pounds so that was great to hear.  Today I have been feeling like crap, I have a horrible case of stomach issues and I can't stop going to the bathroom.  At my birthing classes I was told that this is one of the many signs of labor coming.

I am going to start walking a lot more now that I am out of the premature labor stage and start working on my nipples which are supposed to help bring on contractions.  I know the baby is coming soon so I am just helping him along.  I have been stretching a lot and putting Vita E on the area where the baby will be coming to prevent any problems.  I am also drinking red rasberry tea which helps your uterous to become nice and strong to push the baby out.  I am still thinking about natural child birth but I am not against drugs if I need them.  I am going to go into this with an open mind.  Well I have to go.
