We went for our 3D ultrasound today and Baby Girl was not cooperating at all. Poor thing. We saw her. She was in a transverse/sideways position. I was asked to drink 8-10 glasses of water before my appointment. They recommend a full bladder. I have never had to pee so bad in my ENTIRE life. My bladder was so full, I literally thought I was going to pee my pants. I asked the receptionist if I could use the restroom and she told me that I should wait. So I did and the technician could not even really see the baby's head. So, she told me to use the restroom and maybe it would allow more movement. At that point she couldn't even tell the position of the baby because my bladder was HUGE. So, I use the restroom and I come back and my stomach had gone down so much. It was amazing how much my stomach went down. Anyway, my poor baby was sideways and was scrunched, so we couldn't get any good profile pictures. So I get to go back next week and try again. Hopefully by then she will get in the down position (which I thought she was already). We are going back on Naomi's birthday and then we are going to take her to a special birthday dinner. I can't wait. I hope I don't get my hopes up, because I was super excited today and we didn't get pictures. I did see her face for a second. She was sleeping I think. I saw her little nose. It looked just like Naomi's when she was a baby. Tomorrow morning I have a regular appointment where I will more than likely see her again. The 3D was pretty cool though. The room was really nice and comfy. There were toys and things to keep my two little ones busy. On each side of the room there were 20 inch monitors that showed the sonogram and then above and in front of the bed I layed there was a 46 inch HD monitor to show the sonogram as well. The technician dimmed the lights and there were pillows everywhere. I can't wait to go back next week. I thought the environment was really warm and comforting. I would recommend this to every pregnant woman out there. I regret not doing it with my other babies now. Anyway, I will let you all know how tomorrow's appointment goes. Oh yeah, before I forget. We did hear the heartbeat for the first time. It was 136 which the technician said was good. Naomi asked "What is that sound? That is loud." We told her it was baby sister's heartbeat and she loved that of course. Just thought I would include that bit of information.

We are all much better now, except now Owen has 'slapface'. It is a contagious rash on the face, but there is not much more to report on that. He is fine though. We are in the process of planning Naomi's 4th birthday party. We are going to have a party at our house in the yard like we did for Owen's birthday party. She is super excited to wear her new birthday dresses and to have her 4 year pictures taken.
My school friends and teachers have been asking me a lot about my pregnancy. It is pretty cool. People are FINALLY feeling comfortable enough to talk to me about it. I guess I look pregnant now and not just a little round like I have been eating too much McDonalds lately. I am so excited for the 3D ultrasound coming up. I have never had one done before and I hear it is so awesome. I have an appointment Friday. Hopefully, we can get a delivery date ready and then I can register at the hospital. That is really easy to do online. Other than that, I am good. I had morning sickness just about every other day last week, but whatever, I don't even care anymore. I have been waking up every morning still to go pee too. I can't remember if that lasts the whole pregnancy. I hope not.

How your baby's growing:
Your baby now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber), from head to heel. The nerve pathways in her ears are developing, which means her response to sounds is growing more consistent. Her lungs are developing now, too, as she continues to take small breaths of amniotic fluid — good practice for when she's born and takes that first breath of air. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days.
I will have more to report after my appointment Friday.

Strep Throat
My husband, daughter, and I went to the doctor because we were feeling under the weather lately and we tested positive for Strep Throat. My throat is so swollen and it hurts so bad if I touch my glands. I hope my little Owen doesn't get it. Naomi had 103.9 temperature while we were at the doctor's office. We all got antibiotics which is nice because I knew that I didn't just have a sore throat. Hopefully Tuesday it will have gone away because that is when I have school again. Anyway, have a good weekend.

So...I just keep getting closer and closer to my due date which is super exciting. I am getting the flu right now which stinks because I have alot of things that I have to get done. I was supposed to go get a 3D ultrasound, but since I am sick I have to wait. This place does prenatal massage and I think I might schedule one soon. My whole body is super achy. I feel a sore throat coming on and I am super cold.
But anyway, I got a call from my doctor's office this morning and my glucose levels are good, which means I do not have gestational diabetes. I do however have to take iron pills again because I am slightly anemic. I actually don't mind taking them because I feel better when I take them regularly. I don't like the idea of taking another pill, but I do like the idea of gaining some energy from the iron. It is interesting how I am anemic again now that I am having a girl, but I didn't have it for my son. It is just interesting how every woman's body reacts differently to each individual pregnancy.
The baby is moving SO much! It is the neatest feeling, but I do have to say it is really painful because she won't stay out of my ribs. That hurts a bit.
