Pregnancy Journal

Our little girl was born on 5th July, 2007 by elective caesarian section.  Weighing in at 3,96kg's and 51cm tall.

She's absolutely gorgeous and so contented and happy.  Breastfeeding is going really well and all in all we're totally besotted with our new addition.

I cannot believe she's actually here.  It feels like yesterday that I made my first entry here!  Time really does go quickly and I plan to enjoy every moment of my little girls newborn days.

Can you believe that in around about 24 hours I will finally be holding my baby girl in my arms.

Tomorrow is caeser day!  I'm starting to get a bit nervous now although I'm sure everything will be fine.  I just hope Reece takes to his baby sister nicely!

This will definitely be my last update before our little Angel arrives.

Will update next week again once we're all home safe & sound.

So, we thought long & hard about it & decided to just stick with our original caeser date of the 5th July.

So baby won't be making her appearance on Monday as planned but on Thursday.  It's actually better as it gives me a few extra days to sort some things out.

I'm making sure I enjoy my last days now as I know by this time next week my baby girl will be here. 

I still wonder if she isn't going to make her own appearance before then though but I guess time will tell.

Saw the doctor yesterday & he's reluctant to perform the caeser on Thursday as he's concerned that it could just be a couple of days too early & then baby winds up in ICU. 

He's also not keen to push things out to next Thursday either as my placenta is calcifying & there's little fluid left so I assume the risk of going into labour would be really strong by then.

He reckons Monday 2nd July would be first prize & it seems that's the way we're going to go!  I must phone the doctor & confirm with him tomorrow though!

Otherwise, madam is doing well & was weighing in at 3.5kg's at our appointment yesterday!

I am feeling VERY tired & am so ready to have my baby girl in my arms now.  My pelvis hurts like crazy & I'm just so uncomfortable & emotional!  Am trying not to complain too much though as I'm irritating myself with it now...

I guess my next update will be once baby is born!
