22 Weeks Yay! Lil Mac is 22 weeks. Accoriding to the bump he is now the size of papaya. And accoridng to my doc he is 1lb something ounces.
I saw a new doctor today and was apprehensive about her and her office since I love my original doc and his office. Thank god that the were so nice and accommodating. All my fears were put to rest. The best part is my doc said that since I was giving my husband an heir, that I deserve a diamond gift... I LOVE HER ALREADY. And even though I wasn't scheduled for an ultrasound until 35 weeks, she really wanted to meet lil Mac so we took an ultrasound anyways and pointed out the boy parts to me. She knew I wasn't convinced from my prevous ultrasound. It's comforting to know that everything is still ok and that he is camera shy... haha.
I was excited to see lil Mac again since it's been awhile (4 weeks) since I last saw him. I don't know if I can wait until 35 weeks. It sounds so far away. Anyways I'm glad to have found a doctor closer to home and I can make it into the office at a reasonable time instead of missing half my day.
The little one is moving quite a bit. It feels like a little secret between the two of us since no one can really see or feel it yet.
2009-10-01 (17 weeks)
17 weeks 1 day It still doesn't seem real that I'm pregant... I think I'm in shock. but nausea is mostly gone now, but I do know that my taste buds are different. I know what I like and don't like to eat and really missing sushi.
We heard the heartbeat again on Monday, but didn't get to see him which was disappointing. But we will get to see the baby again on Wednesday 10/7 and we will find out if it is a boy or a girl. I think Mike is counting down the days.
I am starting to have trouble breathing walking from one office to the other and going up stairs... :( and i finally gained some weight... 3lbs! Hopefully I can keep it between 15-20, fingers crossed.
This weekend I get to jump on a plane to SF, can't wait. Although I can't have any oysters, I am trying to get Mike to eat a dozen of them for me at Hog Island Oyster Company. Also looking forward to walking around the city. I am a bit apprehensive jumping on a plan, but excited as well. I can't wait to see some close friends and catch up.
