Baby come out!!
Well, I am almost a week over my due date and baby doesn't seem to be wanting to come out at all!! It's still wiggling around and moving around but not moving in the down direction. I don't even think I have dropped at all!!
I have tons of heartburn and fluid in my ears and a little bit of swelling. But... besides that, I feel great! My energy is back and I feel like the old me! Rob and I actually got things done now that I feel better and he had a little break from the house. We managed to finish organizing our bedroom, cleaned and washed the inside of our car, set up the car seat, organized all the baby clothes and organized some of the clutter we were making in my poor mom and dads house!
Speaking of house... our house has come a long way! Rob and his dad have done a lot of hard, hard work on it. Our basement has been poured and our house is now framed and all the internal and external walls are done. We should be having the roof trusses come by this week. We have designed our cupboards and are hoping things will get done on time. It was and is really great seeing Rob's mom and dad over this time because I am really getting to know them better. It's hard when we don't see them that often and we all live so far away from each other.
Things seem to be working out with my disability cheques and I applied for Mat leave a couple days ago (last week). I want to be able to stop by work and visit everyone. It's weird how much I miss work and miss seeing everyone. After being there for a couple of years you don't realize how much you miss things until after you've been away for awhile.
My body is so huge right now! I feel I look so big and asked my doctor about all the weight I am gaining. He told me not to worry because it's fluid. I really am retaining so much fluid it is crazy!!! My face, feet and hands go to triple the size and then back down. It's really weird.
With my new found energy I also got the things done I wanted to. Rob and I both got our hair cut, I got waxed and we are starting to organize our summer clothes.
I have been going back into the craving stage and have been craving orange juice like mad. Maybe I'm lacking that in my diet...
Hopefully, baby comes. I am a little scared about induction and how much it will hurt. I'm also nervous about all the pain that I will experience. This baby is really starting to feel very big inside. Big babies run in our family and I'm wondering how big this little baby is going to be. ... Hopefully, it'll fall in the 7 lb category... at least that is average!
