Baby has arrived!

2008-05-25 (39 weeks)

3 days away
Well my due date is 3 days away and I don't feel any changes. I'm having the odd Braxton Hicks but so far nothing seems to be progressing. The baby is moving around just as much as before but the movements are so incredible now. My doctor is away until Wed so I hope the baby doesn't come before he comes back just because of all the complications and I'm comfortable with him. Rob is getting very excited for baby too. He told me yesterday he thought it was a girl for sure. I've sometimes thought girl... like today. It seems like a girl but then when i picture myself holding a baby, I just see boy.. lol... The house is coming along well. The walls are up and everything. The boys are taking a week break and starting to do the roofs in the first week of June, after Allison's wedding. Living at my mom and dads is great and things are going well. This week, we will be finishing our room and our baby stuff getting it all together. I miss Tucker very, very much and I hope he will be coming home soon!!!! He's in great hands at mom and dad's in Hudson Bay. The cats are doing very well in the garage here at mom and dads in Warman. Well I will keep you posted as to when baby comes!!!

2008-05-10 (37 weeks)

May 10
Well today I have been extremely tired. I can barely keep my eyes open. I have been napping all day for the most part to save my energy for tonight. Tonight I'm having a small get together for my bday (which was on the 6th). We're going to Bachas and then karaoke in a lounge. I hope my energy keeps up. Everything is going very well with baby. It's moving around quite a bit and it's pointy little knee or elbow jab me from time to time. I love it. With only 18 days away, I'm starting to get really excited and nervous about meeting this little one that has been growing inside of me. Pregnancy is such an amazing thing!!! It's so hard to believe that this little baby started off as a cell and has grown into what it is today. As my due date gets closer and closer, Rob is getting very excited too. He is extremely busy right now as well. Our house has been moved off, our basement is pretty much complete and Rob is working 12 hour shifts as well as working on the house and being here for me. I'm very lucky to have such an awesome guy May is a crazy month and this year in particular. My nieces bday was on May 5, mine the 6th, my dads the 9th, Shannon and Rob's are both on 27th,, the day b4 the due date!!! Rob and I have been invited to 4 weddings this year and unfortunately have to miss one already. I miss Tucker right now and have been trying to spend all my spare time visiting the cats, organizing our room, helping Rob with the house and trying to rest for baby... Things will all work out!!!!!

2008-04-28 (35 weeks)

April 28

Well I am exactly 30 days, - 1 month - away from the estimated due date! Things are going wonderfully, for the most part :)

Baby is still moving around a lot and loves when I rub my tummy. It comes up everytime I stop for more. Rob and I are now living at my mom and dads and our other house is empty. It will be very sad to see it go but I am also relieved that things are going accordingly. Shykeal, our one cat is adapting well to being at my mom and dads and Tuck has been here before so things are ok.

The Braxton Hicks contractions have slowed down more.. I think it is because I am resting more. The only thing that is bothering me now is my aching hand and odd dizzy spell but I feel great otherwise. I still have energy for the most part but not quite as much as before.

All utilites are cut off on the other house and i am really enjoying living at my mom and dads house. It's kind of nice.

We have another ultrasound scheduled for Thursday. Hopefully, this time, we will be able to see the babies face. Last time it was facing my back so we didn't get a picture of anything :( I hope we will this time

Well, that's pretty much it... I'm going to pack my bag tonight just incase, baby comes early. With our luck, baby will be late

2008-04-24 (35 weeks)

Another day goes by

Well, we had the doctor appointment today and things went well. The doctor says it is most likely Braxton Hicks but just to keep an eye on them. I had a few today and another dizzy spell but now I fell wonderful.

Rob and I have been packing and working on the house. The deck got moved off and dragged across the yard... Rob has been working very hard!!!

Baby has been moving a lot today and everythin gis good. We have another doct appt next week as well as another ultrasound!!! That is good b/c the last ultrasound the baby was facing my back so we couldn't see the face. This is the 9th ultrasound then.!!! Wow... I'm thinking since I have a heart condition, and problems the doct just wants to make sure baby is growing properly. So far, our baby is perfect and everything is going great!!!
