Hi Anne,
I was just reading you journal entry and I had to laugh. I am also pregnant due October 15th and it is like reading about my own pregnancy. I have been having a lot of trouble sleeping due having to get up so often to pee over and over again and I am starting to get uncomfortable at night. I have been propping my belly up with a blanket (a pillow would work better but I don't have extras yet) and that has helped me sleep better. Also I can't seem to get enough food. I can eat and feel full but 30 minutes later it feels as though I haven't eaten in many hours.

I loved your stories about how you told your family. I live in Australia and our families live in the US so we had to tell them over the phone which was ok but it would have been more fun in person.

Anyway, Congratulations on the pregnancy!!

I have been using this site up until about a couple days ago when I moved all my info to my personal webpage so if you want to read about me you can go to www.spicyprincess.com. I have also been taking pictures every week and can really see a difference since the beginning. It is all pretty amazing!!

. Hehehe. I know you will have a great pregnancy and will be a great mother. Remember to eat healthy food for yourself and the little one.

I've heard many superstitions from my family, especially my grandma. She strictly made me do certain things during my pregnancy and post-pregnancy. Of course, I could only do so much of what she made me to do. ;)

Your journal is so sweet and I can absolutely relate to your feelings of trying to let reality sink in. I am sorry to tell you, but from someone who is 34 weeks pregnant today, the bathroom breaks at night really don't get any better. Start to learn where the bathrooms are at all of your favorite places (Target, Lowes, the bank, Hy-Vee...etc) once the baby takes over pressing your bladder button, you will happy for an exit plan no matter where you are!

2008 is the year of the Rat, but I think it is actually the year of babies. So many miracles this year, we will all enjoy celebrating our babies' milestones together. Take care of yourself, don't work too hard and welcome all the help offered; you have the important job of growing a healthy Little Peterson!
