Nursery finished! OK so I went all out and finished the nursery tonight so the photos are up...
2008-09-01 (33 weeks)
Almost 34 weeks... I cannot believe that on Thursday I am 34 weeks pregnant. 6 weeks to due date... unreal. I was feeling quite rough last week for a few days, with no energy whatsoever, and then realised it was because I was not taking my vitamins and minerals (I had run out) so I am like a new woman now, since I started back on them. Phew.
The nursery is nearly finished! I will put up photos by the end of this week... it is looking really nice now.
Other than that, all is good. The heat has died down a bit now, so I am starting my driving theory this week. We also still have some things to get for the baby, and I have yet to fill a hospital bag! All in good time... :) Jose, Graham, Adam & Graham's family arrive tomorrow. Looking forward to that.
2008-08-25 (32 weeks)
Doctor Appointment We had our doctor's appointment this evening and here is the update:
- The baby's head is already down in the right position for birth. This brings a lot of relief to me as it minimises chances of having to have a caesarean. Usually the head should be down by 36 weeks so he is being a good little boy and behaving himself and doing all the right things.
- He is of normal size although his head is still measuring 2 weeks ahead. I think he is going to have Eric's head... ha ha.
- He now weighs 1.848 kilos (4.07 pounds). He certainly won't be a small baby anyway...
Our next appointment is the 24th September (36ish weeks) and I think from then on we will have one appointment per week, where we will have fetal heart monitoring.

2008-08-22 (32 weeks)
32 weeks Mam, Kate and Moira went home last night; we had a lovely time together. And Eric came back from Canada and he came armed with lots of lovely gifts from his family and friends, which we opened together.
Next appointment is on Monday (25th) with our original doctor so I no doubt will have more scan pics to put up. The baby is getting big now and there is not much room for him to move around. He still manages it, but its more nudging and elbowing than kicks now.
