- Baby now weighs 2.5 kilos and the doctor estimates that he will be 3 kilos when he is born. I am a little shocked at this to be honest as it is smaller than I expected.
- He is starting to engage, which explains the pressure I have been feeling. The doctor estimates that he will be fully engaged in 2 weeks time.
- I have put on 1 kilo per week since the last appointment!! :(
- We have scan pics, a really good one of the soles of his two little feet. SO cute! I will get Eric to scan them for me tonight or tomorrow.
- And finally, my blood results were good – iron level has even gone up! And I do not have Strep B which means I wont be on antibiotics for the labour. All good. :)

Doctor Appointment Today 3 weeks left to go tomorrow! (well 4 if I go overdue). We have a doctor's appointment this evening @ 17,30, so looking forward to that. Also had bloods done on Monday along with a Strep B test, so will find out results this evening.
Feeling really well. Just finished washing and ironing a ton more clothes for baby and getting organised. We also now have a lovely Moses basket, which was given to us by Eric's old boss. I washed it, and bought a new mattress and now it looks lovely. I will take a photo and see if it comes out well.
Other than that, no news. Just patiently waiting......

One month today! Well the due date is officially one month from today! Yippee! We have almost everything for the baby now, minus a few things. We bought a very nice pushchair last Friday and it arrives tomorrow. I am excited to see it.
Eric and I were away in Cadiz for the weekend. It was good, but a bit more tiring than I expected. We spent the weekend walking around, driving to Puerto de Santa María, eating out, going to the beach etc. We found a really nice vegatarian tapas place (also served meat and fish), which is unheard of in Spain usually. We had a very nice meal there.
Eric's current work are throwing him a going away party on Friday and he starts his new job on Monday next. He will be entitled to two weeks paternity leave when the baby is born so he is going to take one week immediately after the birth and then another week maybe when the visitors have left. We are just going to play it by ear. His new work are fine with that.
I have blood tests this Friday and my next appointment then on Wednesday 24th for screening. Fingers crossed all goes OK. I will take some bump photos today and put them up to celebrate one month left!!

Almost 35 weeks It was our one year anniversary on Saturday. We are going away next weekend to celebrate as Jose & co. were here this weekend. We didnt do much on Sat as it turns out, but at least we have next weekend to look forward to now. On Sunday, we went and did our last minute shopping for my hospital bag, and some last stuff for baby... we then had dinner out and we bought Monopoly and came home and played it!! Fun fun fun!
The baby is moving down now, I can feel a lot of pressure ... eeek! Hopefully that means he is getting ready to come out on time like a good little chappy.
Other than that, I am busy with translation and also studying my driving theory. The weather has cooled down now, so I am loving it. Still swimming a lot, even though the water is colder now.
35 weeks this week... I didnt know that 37 weeks is considered full term i.e. that if the baby is born after 37 weeks, he is not considered to be premature, which basically means I can start wishing for him to arrive in 2.5 weeks time!
