Update on Eric's Arm

Well it turns out that Eric will have to have surgery after all. He has been told to do the physio for the next 2 weeks if he wants, but that he should go in for the surgery on the 7th April.  (this also happens to be the same day as our 12-week scan unfortunately)

Eric's Arm

Eric collected his results today and it appears he has supraspinatus tendonitus in his arm. He has a doctor's appointment tomorrow @ 11am where the results will be analysed and treatment will be prescribed. Fingers crossed he does not have to have surgery...

(thought Eric's family might like this update...)

Blood Work

Well today I went for the dreaded blood tests and I hated every second of it. However, it was over very quickly and Eric was with me for moral support. We will have the results tomorrow evening.

I am also 9 weeks pregnant today! I am attaching a photo of what a 9 week old foetus looks like... (in 3 weeks time, we will have our own photos... yippeee!)

Midwife Appointment

Met with Anne, the midwife, this evening. She opened my eyes to lots of different issues, and there was me thinking I knew everything there was to know!  Anyway, it was very good to speak to her, she said I am very organised and doing all the right things.

Also went on my second driving lesson tonight; learned how to start on a hill, reverse up a hill, brake more gently, shift gears more easily etc. Amazingly, I am enjoying the lessons, so this is a bonus. Eric is a great teacher.
