Well, today is the day... hopefully by 6pm this evening we will know if we are having a little boy or girl. So excited.
Our visitors (Kevin, Emily and baby Brendan) arrived on Thursday evening. We are having a lovely time with them. Oh and they brought us a TON of baby clothes; onesies, vests, pyjamas, tracksuits, jeans, t-shirts, socks, hats... They are all so tiny, its hard to believe they will fit a baby! We are going to spend the day on the beach today and then tonight we are going for tapas and sangría (just tapas for me) as Emily wants to do something very Spanish.
My friend Elaine is busy planning my baby shower. I think we are having it in a restaurant across the road, where we can stay for the day and use their swimming pool and grounds. She is planning all sorts of games and fun! Not sure of the date yet as we are waiting to see how we get on today.

Our weekend
Monday again... Our weekend consisted of the following: We had a barbecue on Friday night. On Saturday I sunbathed all day with my friend Elaine, and I ended up quite sunburnt! On Sunday, we went to the Cheese Festival (photos up on Facebook soon), where you buy a book of 10 tickets for 5 EUR and you can take tastes from 10 different cheese stalls. It was definitely different, and we found a lovely cheese to buy. I didnt feel too well all day so I just relaxed last night and feel much better today.
Eric's friends from Canada - Emily, Kevin and baby Brendan - are arriving on Wednesday until next Monday. We are looking forward to it, and Emily is bringing some of Brendan's old things so we will have our first baby stuff! Yay!!
I am going to put up photos now of my fat tummy. Bye!

15 weeks today
Jeez, the time is flying by, I cant believe I am already 15 weeks! All good though...
Eric is well, he is not too sore but he is majorly bored!! He can't play his Xbox and he can't work so he only has TV to watch. I keep telling him to go sunbathe but he is not interested. That's what I would be doing for sure.
Only one more week till the 16 week scan where we might find out if we are team blue or pink...! I really hope the baby cooperates and allows us to see! If not, we will have to wait another 4 weeks.
As for me, I am feeling fine, a bit fat if anything to be honest. Eric and I are going to Coín on the weekend with Sarabeth and Javier as there is a cheese festival on in the morning time and a tapas festival in the afternoon. Should be great fun but I hope I don't eat too much there!!

Eric's Operation
After a long day (from 9am to 9pm) we are back from the hospital. The operation went well, although there is still some ambiguity:
- the tendon was not torn as badly as thought before, and has been fixed now, but this makes the doc think that maybe the tendon is not the problem
- the doc thinks there could be nerve damage, and a test on Thursday will confirm this
So anyway, Eric now has two holes in his shoulder with three staples holding them together. And he is wearing a sling and on antibiotics and painkillers. Thats the brief update.
Oh, we also took some photos of Eric before and after the op, just for a laugh really. I will put some of them up in Photo Album.
As for me, I am NOT good with blood and stitches etc. so felt queasy for most of the time after Eric's op was over. . What will I be like when I am having a baby!!!
