My pregnancy classes are:
almost over! We took a "Preparing for Birth" 5 week class, a "Caring for your newborn" class and this week is "Breastfeeding Basics."
|
|
| |
In the classes, I've learned how to:
We have learned so much about the actual labor and delivery. I thought the classes were very helpful, Clint especially liked the breathing techiniques... We will see how helpful he is with those when I am actually in labor!

What I've bought for you so far:
I have bought only a few things, all Pooh stuff. Some clothes, blankets, sheets. Only stuff on clearance!
|
|
| |
What other people have bought for you:
Grandma Marie bought you two outfits for coming home from the hosptial. One is for a girl and one is for a boy so we have yet to see which one you wear home!! The girl outfit is really cute :)Grandma Jan bought you a beautiful picture frame that we will use to put a picture in every month for the first year of your life.

The strangest food craving I've had during this pregnancy is:
I really thought it was a crazy myth that pregnant women crave pickles, but sure enough that has been one of my cravings! Other than that I am pretty limited since being diagnosed with GD, so I only eat the good stuff and try to ignore the cravings.

At my prenatal visit, I learned:
That I lost seven pounds this week! Abnormal for preganacy but obviously I can stand to lose a few pounds. This healthy eating must be contributing!
|
|
| |
My hopes:
That everything goes smoothly over the remaining weeks of my pregnancy. I can not let myself get stressed over the little things!
|
|
| |
My fears:
That something will happen to cause me to go into early labor. I know how important it is for the baby to be full term to have the opportunity to grow as much as possible!
