Names narrowed down- maybe (August 7, 2008) Ok, I think we have the names narrowed down pretty well, but who knows, we could change our minds again tomorrow! These are names we have liked from the very beginning but had kinda forgotten about. But a couple of nights ago we went through them again, and decided that we still really like these. What do you think?

Boy: Ezra Henry (would go by Ezra)
Yeshua Charles (would go by Yeshua/Yesh)
Henry Abram (would go by Abram/Bram)
2008-08-07 (40 weeks)
Due date has come and gone! (August 7, 2008) Since the appointment two days ago I have had a little more cramping and the couple of contractions I’ve had, have been a little more intense. But I still feel like I’ve got a ways to go yet. Any early labor signs I’ve had have been pretty mild. It would be kinda neat if the baby were born sometime tomorrow, because it will be 8-8-08 and the start of the Olympics- two events that don’t just happen everyday! :)
2008-08-07 (40 weeks)
Doctor’s appointment- 40 weeks (August 5, 2008) Well, not much change from the last appointment. I’m still about 50% effaced and have dilated to one centimeter. He said that everything was going just as it should and that it was completely normal to only be dilated to one. He did however schedule me to come back in this Friday (in three days) to see how I’ve progressed. Depending on how everything is, he said we would talk about the possibility of an induction sometime next week (by that time I would be about 41 1/2 weeks, nine days past my due date). The idea of an induction seems a little premature right now, but we’ll see how things go. A lot could happen in a few days. He has been a good doctor and I trust his judgment. I think he’ll evaluate the situation and give us his recommendation, but I don’t think he’ll push us into anything we’re not ready for.
2008-08-07 (40 weeks)
Our 7year anniversary! (August 4, 2008) Today was our anniversary; I can’t believe we’ve been married seven years now. It’s been the best seven years of my life. I am so happy and blessed. I hope God will grant us many more happy, healthy years together.
Since we had our “babymoon” two weekends ago, and because I’m so close to the due date, we decided to have a nice dinner at home. I fixed chicken parmesan, green beans, corn on the cob, and salad. It turned out pretty good if I do say so myself. :) Right when Ricky got home from work he wanted to give me a gift, he was so excited he didn’t want to wait any longer. I opened it up and it was a GEORGOUS diamond pendant that HE MADE HIMSELF!!! It was one of his last projects he worked on when he worked for the jewelry store. He’s made other custom pieces before, but I think this is his best by far. He’s had it finished for over a month! He did an amazing job on it; it is absolutely beautiful. He has become a very talented goldsmith.
