Happy Saturday! Hello Peeps! Hope you are all off to a good start of the weekend! Things are good here. Back to script revisions...got some very helpful notes to work on...we're submitting the script to competitions, etc.
Its been a bit since I checked in here, but there's not too much news on the baby front except that the little guy is moving like crazy...growing, no doubt. We're in the 27th week! My tummy also hurts a bit from the stretching. So far my weight is in check, though...doing well there, yay!
Joe and I are trying to figure out how to rearrange our apartment to accommodate the baby and his things. We don't want to get too much stuff...and everything has to be multi-functional because our space is so limited. It'll be fun to figure out, though. Also, I've been going through lists of baby names to try and get some possibilities...its so much harder than I though to find one!!!

Checkup Update! We had another prenatal checkup on May 29th (last Thursday). Things still look good, although I really need to keep being strict with my diet so that I don't gain too much more weight. My uterus is measuring one week ahead. Blood pressure is very good. The baby's heartbeat is also very healthy (he kicked the instrument that the midwife used to hear the heartbeat twice very hard!). We did the glucose tolerance test as well. If I don't hear anything in the next few days it means that I'm fine. I can't imagine that there is a problem.
We got an infant car seat (see photo album). And Lara and Papa picked out a baby outfit in China while she was over there for work...so cute! We put a picture up of it as well in the album!

25 wks Pregnancy Photo Shoot! Hello everyone! Today is the start of week 25 and our 3rd trimester according to our pregnancy journal (everyone calculates it a little differently, but its close). Yea! or Yay! Depending on how you want to spell it. Heehee. I wondered if I was spelling it correctly and looked it up. It looks like 'Yay' is a version of 'Yea' which is like old english for 'Yes' too. Anyway, both can be used! Ha!
Please check out the new pregnancy pics in the photo album section of this blog (there are three pages of them!). Joe and I made the effort to do a pregnancy photo shoot here at home and at Manhattan Beach. I'm happy with how they turned out and it'll be nice to have them as a reminder of this time. I have to say though, I've never felt more that this phrase of my grandmother's "a little paint makes you what you ain't" is more true...heehee! The makeup, hair and clothing sure helped me feel different than my normal, everyday, grunting, lounging pregnant self! We had fun!

The nausea is back. Hello Peeps!
Joe is at a major SAG meeting tonight so I thought I'd take the time to do a little update. I think we'll get some more info on whether SAG is going to strike this summer or continue negotiations with the producers/studios. This is major stuff for actors...have to hope it goes well for us and SAG gets some leverage. The producers/studios are so powerful.
Its been hot here in LA the past few days. We've had to have the air conditioning going. A lot of So Cal had record temps yesterday. We've done well staying cool though. We've been exercising earlier in the morning (Pilates) before it gets hot and getting in a little evening walk when the sun has set most days. We should get a cool down happening tomorrow.
Guess what? We're almost in the 3rd trimester and the nausea is back again. Its been coming back over the last few days. I need to make sure to have some carbs every few hours or it gets bad. Regular, small meals definitely helps, but it is making me a bit cranky that its back.
Oh, the peeing is getting more frequent...the pressure on my bladder must been getting more now that the baby is bigger...this morning I peed and thought I was good for a little while at least, but like after 15 minutes or something I had to go again. Joe is so cute...he says its fine...its natural...as I stomp back off to the bathroom saying "again?"
I feel like I sleep so deeply these days. Sometimes I wake up and it feels like I've been drugged or something...my limbs just are so tired...almost paralized feeling. It feels like I must be working out when I sleep! Heehee. My dreams are so packed, vivid and strange! I had a dream yesterday afternoon that was like being in a video game (and I don't play video games). I was trying to get away from this bad guy and I was flying this fighter plane that could zoom in and out of really tight, narrow places and I had several buttons that fired different kinds of shots...I was blowing things up right and left...I was getting away though. I've never had a dream like that before.
I keep getting bigger ( no surprises there) so we're going to take some nice pictures after we get our hair cuts tomorrow. Hopefully we'll get those up soon for you all to see.
The little one is moving a lot these days...the kicks get increasingly stronger. He likes to move around especially after I eat...I guess he gets an energy boost too! We have our next prenatal checkup on the 29th. We'll do the gestational diabetes glucose test then (I think it'll be fine) and check all the normal things too...weight, urine (for protein and glucose, etc.), blood pressure, pulse, baby heartbeat, uterus size, etc. I need to get some more prenatal vitamins then too. We're getting to the home stretch very soon...the last trimester! Yea!
