The Beginning .......

Let me start from the very beginning.....

On December 11, 2007 I was feeling sick and miserable. I'm known to having the flu and getting sick in the winter time so I didn't think anything of it. Jason, Lacy's Daddy & My Wonderful Boyfriend, was gone with his mother. He jokingly told me to take the pregnancy test that had been in my car (I have no clue why) for about a year. I laughed and told him I didn't think it would work from being hot/cold all the time. I wondered outside and took the pregnancy test. Almost immediatly, it had 2 lines! I was completely shocked! I text messaged him and he was like "go and get another one". So I flew to town and picked up a 4 pack. LOL. All of them came out positive. We were in total shock! We had alsways wanted a baby but we didn't think it would ever happen!

On December 12, 2007 - I went to get the test confirmed at the local clinic. The nurse said Merry Christmas and Congratulations - You're Pregnant!

We told our families on or before Christmas - Everyone was excited!

Now - 20 weeks into the pregnancy I feel like I'm the Queen of the World! I feel great! I can feel our little Lacy moving around in my belly and it's so amazing. We found out we're having a girl on March 14, 2008. We were shocked, once again, because we seriously thought it was a boy! You know men, they usually want a boy first, but when that little girl comes into their lives - everything changes. They don't say Daddy's Girl for no reason

We have recently moved into a very cute 2 bedroom apartment. The baby's room is a work in progress and we're excited to get it finished! It will feel real once everything is getting put away and everything looks like a baby's room! Right now there is still boxes in there from moving.

We are so incredibly blessed and happy with the way everything in our lives have turned out so far. We can't wait to meet our little Lacy! I'm excited for Jason to feel her kicking and moving in my belly. It sucks because only I can feel something so incredible right now! I want to share it with him!

I will keep this updated as much as possible - but I thought it would be fun to share with everyone my experiences and a new beginning to the rest of our lives.
