November Ends
Finally, it was a nice, sunny day!!! The rain is gone! Today has been so busy. We have been going nonstop! Randy's mom had to go to the hospital last night. She was having trouble breathing, so we went to visit her (she is home now). Then, my dad called and said MY mom was in the hospital! She has been admitted. I hope she will be ok! Then, my sister in law called and her daughter, Tabatha went into labor this morning! She had her baby at 9:05 tonight. She was expecting a girl (according to ultrasound), but it was a BOY! What a surprise! She was due 12/18. This is her first and she went early! Maybe I'll be that way too. Just don't come out a girl, Aydan!

November 29
Just wanted to add an entry for today. I'm feeling kind of blah! (yep, rainy again) I made the mistake of making a stirfry tonight and adding soysauce. My fingers are soooo swollen. I'm supposed to pick up my wedding rings I had sized tomorrow....I still probably won't be able to wear them....UGH!
My mom has started on the baby shower...YAY! We are doing a Baby Einstein theme. I love the primary colors and the little animals. It's gonna be so cute! Can't wait!

Oompa Loompa Breathing.....Nov. 28
Today has been great! I really took it easy, and I feel good. It was still rainy today though....blah.....
We went to the third childbirth class tonight. It went well. I was craving a cup of ice so bad, that during break I asked the instructor and she went and got me some...lol. We mostly talked about pain relief options....and we watched part of a video, and worked on breathing. I just can't do the breathing in public. Is it just me but I feel so dumb......sitting there going "hut, hut..." I just look at Randy and he makes me laugh. We have pretty much figured it out on or own. I just don't like doing it in a room full of people. I wasn't understanding the techiniques all that well until she said instead of saying "hut" or "hee", we can do what's called "oompa loompa breathing!!" I understood it then, but when we went to do it together all I could do was laugh, because I couldn't think of anything but little men running around with green hair and striped stockings. LOL! I think this techinique will work better for me though......at least it will keep my mind off the pain because it's funny to me.....
I have about decided against an epidural , unless I ABSOLUTELY need it. The negative side of it really outweighs the good to me. I really wanted a "light" or "walking epidural", but now I have been informed that they do not administer these to first time moms......ok......I just don't like the thought of not being able to feel.....I don't know, it just freaks me out. I DO want to know what it's like. If I opt for it, I will definitely try to wait as long as possible before I have it. I also don't like the idea of IV meds, because some of them are narcotics. She said you would have a sense of being out of control, and I really don't want that. It makes me feel a little unprepared, but I guess we'll just wait till the time comes....
I just can't seem to get enough to eat today......I'm going to go eat some apple cheescake.....yum!!!
Aydan is VERY active today, by the way!
