25 DAYS TO GO!!! Today has been good....except for watching everybody play video games all day, Ugh! It has been rainy again, and even sleeted some. Winter's definitely here! Randy and the kids helped me clean the whole house this afternoon. They're so sweet to help. I just want to be prepared and get everything "baby ready." Nesting, I guess. I have yet to wash the baby clothes, and I've still got 3 shelves to put up....at least we made lots of progress today!!! I feel so much better now. I just wish the sun would come out so we could go for a walk or something......maybe this coming week....we'll see!

The Delivery
A married couple went to the hospital together to have their baby delivered. Upon their arrival, the doctor said he had invented a new machine that would transfer a portion of the mother's labor pain to the father. He asked if they were willing to try it out. They were both very much in favor of it. The doctor set the knob to 10 percent for starters, explaining that even 10 percent was probably more pain than the father had ever experienced before. But as the labor progressed, the husband felt fine, so he asked the doctor to go ahead and bump it up a notch. The doctor then adjusted the machine to 20 percent pain transfer. The husband was still feeling fine. The doctor checked the husband's blood pressure and pulse and was amazed at how well he was doing. At this, they decided to try for 50 percent. The husband continued to feel quite well. Since it was obviously helping out his wife considerably, he encouraged the doctor to transfer ALL the pain to him. The wife delivered a healthy baby with virtually no pain. She and her husband were ecstatic. When they got home, the mailman was dead on their porch.

December 2 Well, I had another prenatal appointment today. With Vickie again. My blood pressure was good, and I had gained like 6 pounds!!! OMG! In two weeks!! Hellooo Thanksgiving! I'm guessing/hoping some is water weight. I was surprised, because I didn't feel like I had gained any. At least not that much. I believe I really have pregnancy brain too. I went to the bathroom to give a sample (like I do everytime I go), and just went to the bathroom forgetting all about the cup...duh! LOL Also, no progress yet. No dialation or effacement.....blah! Vickie did give me the names of some pediatricians she recommends. I called one and got that set up today. One more thing out of the way!
