I started thinking I might be pregnant when:
i realised i was 11 days late, and getting a metallic taste in my mouth.

was at work in the middle of a north sea oil rig, after asking the medic for a home test.

im not sure, as we were both on different oil rigs i had to break the news over the phone,i think he was very scared, but happy, a mixture of emotions.

i had my visit to the doctor first to learn i was 5 weeks pregnant, then i waited for 7 weeks before i got my first prenatal visit.
