Joe & I went to the doctor yesterday.  We were able to see the heartbeat going strong.  Doctor Bissenger is now giving us a due date of October 2nd but I still have a feeling that it will be a week earlier.  Our last ultrasound he did not give us a new date from the original September 12th date but Joe saw on the Ultrasound a date of Sept 26th.  I don't understand how the date can be pushed back.....the baby didn't shrink in 2 weeks.  Anyway, I guess only time & nature will tell.

Started feeling a bit nauseous while we were away.  Seems to be more so when I am hungry.  Happened a few times before breakfast & once at dinner.  Also had a headache one night at dinner.  I pray this pregnancy is easier than the last.  Can you tell I didn't like being pregnant last time?  Some people it just comes naturally....not for me even though the doctor said the last was an A+ preganancy.  That means this one has to be A+++ especially thru the summer. 

We are back from Mexico.  Had a wonderful time with Gavin.  He wasn't into the pool but loved to play with the buckets & the water.  He was great all week.  We received tons of compliments on the plane because he was so well behaved.  We are proud of him.  Hoping the next baby is just as good.  LOL.

Gavin did come down with a fever one day & then again the day we left to come home.  In between the fever he had some diarhea which lasted a few days here & there.  Just what you want to hear, right?  All is well now. 

We did some shopping, relaxed at the pool & took Gavin to the Zoo.

January 30th was our first doctor's appointment.  We had an ultrasound done & the baby is just a little egg still. The doctor thinks we may only be 5-6 weeks pregnant at this point because the heartbeat was not visable.  If this is the case, our due date will now change to September 26th.  Dr Bissenger wants to see us in two weeks for another ultrasound (Feb 13th). 

Right now, I am feeling pretty good but again, it is early.  I am really hoping this preganancy is alot better than the last.  I really was not a fan of being pregnant last time.  I do have to say that this baby has got my emotions rolling already.  I feel very overwhelmed,  which I am sure is natural.

More after we return from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.  We leave on February 2nd for Joe's 30th birthday & will return on February 9th.  Unfortunately, no Margarita's or Mojitos for me but it will be nice to get away.

I had a feeling that I was pregnant.  A few symptoms that I was having, nevermind a missed period, was telling me so.  I took several pregnancy tests & they were reading negative but I was sure it was wrong.  Finally, I bought the test that reads the words "Pregnant or Not Pregnant" & decided to take the test in the AM when the HCG levels are at the highest.  7am on Friday the 18th the test read Preganant!  Joe was at work so I took a picture with my camera phone & off it went to him.  He had a feeling as well.  We are both very happy.  I am very nervous.  I think it is because I know how my last pregnancy was.  I am also in organization mode.  Worse than I ever was before!!!  Our first doctor appointment is January 30th.
