Pregnancy Journal

Mommy and me went to our Dr today and she helped ease Mommy's mind..a little. Although Mommy found out the cord is wrapped TWICE around my neck the Dr told Mommy they will monitor me very closely. The Dr. said that she is sending us to get "Stress Tests" done every week starting next week to help monitor me and make sure I'm not under  too much stress. The Dr. also said that she thinks I'm going to be about a 9lb baby!!! I guess Mommy got her wish on having a Michilin baby . They are  going to send Mommy to another ultrasound around her 36th week  (4 more weeks approx) and if my size is big then they may induce me to come early!! Mommy and Daddy are super excitied at the chance they may see me next month but they are also worried about the cord and praying that I will be safe and healthy. Mommy has to count my movements everyday after a meal to make sure I'm moving atleast 10 times in that hour or we will have to back in. So far I've been a moving machine in here so as long as I keep that up all will be fine!

Daddy actually got to see me "move" the other night. Lately he has just felt the hard movements or kicks but we  were laying  in bed the other night and Mommy was on her side and I  just kinda ROSE out of Mommy's belly and Daddy couldn't believe it. He watched me for a few minutes in shock!!! I thought it was finally time to show him my moves!!!

Grandma LeeAnn was hoping that I would be born on her bday (July 7th) but I don't think that is going to happen. Who knows maybe they won't enduce us but MAYBE just MAYBE I will be born on my cousin Derricks bday. Mommy would really love that. He is over in Iraq being our hero and what better way to show him how much Iove him!  Wishful thinking...we know!

This weekend is my Uncle Brandon's wedding so we will get to see all the family including my Uncle Shawn, Aunt Sam and my cousins Abi and Avery who we haven't seen for awhile! That will be fun to hear them!

Anyhow, I thought I would let you all know the fun and new things going on. Mommy and Daddy have been showing me extra love in hoping that nothing goes wrong but no worries I'm a lil' sticker just like my Daddy

Yesterday Mommy and me were sent to a Specialist. Our Dr. said it was to make sure that everything was okay with the extra fluid in here and to ensure that our normal Dr. is doing everything they should be doing in our situation.

They did an ultrasound and Mommy got to see me again! She said my cheeks look as though they got chubbier and one picture I even puckered up to her! Although I was also playing hide and go seek by covering my face with my hand/arm but it was fun!

The specialist said that they seen the cord was around my neck but luckily the extra fluids that I have in here are helping it in keeping it loose and not tight around my neck. Although Mommy and Daddy don't feel much better with hearing that they are still pretty scared of the unknown for the next 8 weeks. Tomorrow we go and see the normal dr so hopefully she will be able to tell Mommy something to ease her mind, we will keep you posted

I was getting bad pains and super sore yesterday. I called the dr and they sent me directly to the ultrasound I got there and was there for 6 hours! They hooked me up to a stress test for like 4 hours and seen contractions they did an exam to take a swab to see if I would be going into the labor the next couple weeks and it came back negitive thank goodness or they were going to put me on bed rest. They also checked my cervix and it is closed so that is good. The do show extra fluid in with him so I have to watch his moevement closely and if I don't feel him a day or so then I have to go back in. My dr called while I was on the stress test telling me all this thank goodness cause the hospital nurses didn't tell me nothing. She said that I would probally be having more ultrasounds (watching the cord from wrapping etc) The Ultrasound dr said that he is a lil over 4 lb right now and she would show me being 2 weeks early due date then what I am now but my dr said the due date isn't changing he is just growing to a chubby baby! hehe

But no worries we are all doing well and I have attached a 3D picture of baby Dylan for everyone to see how healthy his is :-)
