A dream of baby "A" Last week, I was just telling Cindy that I haven't had a dream of my baby girl yet. So, I told my baby to just let mommy get glimpse of what she looks like. Sure enough, last night I did have a dream of her. I wasn't thinking about her appearance, but I do think about her 24/7, so I wonder if that made an impact on the dream? I'm sure you're dying to know what she looks like too. From the dream, someone was holding her and I was playing with her. She had dark brown hair with these huge cheeks and rolls on her hands and legs. She was sooo adorable! She also had a very light complexion. She looked amer-asian, but more caucasion. She didn't look like Alyssa though. Then I woke up with a smile . I was so happy and thrilled to finally have met her in my dreams. That just made my day. I didn't have time to tell Kris since he works quite early in the morning. I know my description is very vague, I wish I couldn't taken a picture of show everyone!!! I can't wait to meet her.

Baby Care Basics Class Kris and I enjoyed this class. There wasn't so much slide shows to kill time. She brought all the products that baby may need. She also showed us how to quickly bathe a baby and how to swaddle a baby. It's confusing that she shows us one way and the video shows it another way. The video was very informative in showing us how to keep a baby from crying by using all the 5-"S" methods. I hope it'll work on our baby. We even got to practice on changing a diaper and swaddling on a fake baby. Kris got the hang of it pretty well. She even got the same instruction. This Thursday is going to be our CPR class. I think that class is going to be great and informative.

8th month-doctors visit I was very excited to see my doctor yesterday. I had a gizillion questions for her since I didn't get to see her when I was at the hospital last week. She was delivering near me ,but ran out of time to see me. Anways' so far my blood pressure is good and baby's heartbeat is good. Her heartbeat should be between 120-160 and hers was 140. Right in the middle.She also measured me from top of belly and down. She said that baby's growing great. She also said that I probably have braxton hicks contractions since it doesn't hurt me like a real labor would be. She would be concerned if the contractions come every 10mins thought. So far, it's on and off every 15-20 mins. when im at work sitting or am not active, I'll notice it more. Sometimes when I walk around I'll feel it too. Hopefully by me being on the UTI meds and it get's rid of my bacteria, it should slow it down. My doc has confidence that she won't be out early. I was very relieved to hear that from her, considering how worrisome I get. She checked my cervix to see if i'm dialated and it's not thankfully. She also ordered me a slip to get my cervix checked to see if it's sitting low. I think things are going to be alright. Baby just needs to hang in there for at least 5 more weeks and I won't worry anymore if she's out earlier than 40 weeks. 10 months is a long time waiting! But, I'm almost there. With last week being the worst week with aching body, 2/3 leg cramps in mornings, my little fall and my hospital visit that it's so nice for this week to be here. I'm so happy that the shower is over too. It was stressful, but now i can just relax.

Our Baby Shower It was a beautiful day after all on Sunday, April 20th. We were concerned that it was going to be too cold for everyone to be in the back yard to have the shower, but all went well. We were so happy to see all of our famiies and friends in this particular occasion. The last time this happened was at our wedding. I'll just say it was like a mini wedding of 70 people The themed color was pink and red. Most everyone showed up and had a great time, we hope. We started out with eating, then game time, then cupcake time and onto the present time.
During the present time, I had Kris speak for the 2 of us since no one could ever hear my voice and I never do well with speeches. I absolutely get stage fright when all eyes are on me. We're so bad at speeches that we forgot to thank Cindy, my dear twin sis for hosting this party for us. She did a fantastic job!!! We even messed up the part where we thanked his dad for the stroller and his step dad for the crib. We wanted to acknowledge to thank his grandmother, "bubby" and Kris's family for the wonderful gifts. And the surprising gift that Allison, my college roommate got me (a rocking chair)! So, since we're only human, we make mistakes like everyone. We're also very thankful for my family members who contributed to the foods and friends who helped out on the prizes and the games. We also LOVE all the gifts! Baby "A"s going to have many clothes on top of the all the clothes Cindy's given to me from Alyssa. I think she literally has enough clothes till the end of the year : She will have a lot to be thankful for when she arrives into this world. Considering how bad my week was last week, I'm happy it ended well. We LOVE you all and am grateful for everything!!!
