Last Ultrasound...I think Today I went to get my last ultrasound because my doc said that she seems a lil big for my size. The technician said she's about 6 pounds and 8 ounces...ALREADY! I still have 1 more month to go! That's about 6.5 pounds because 16 oz = 1 pound. So, since she could be growing half a pound a week, if she makes it full term till the end, my baby can get be almost 8 pounds! That kinda scares me because what if she's too big to come out of me? At next week's appointment, I think my docs going to over her size and what I might want to do or not do. Who knows, but I did always want her to be over 7pds. Be careful of what you ask for.
You can say that I'm at the more miserable stage. Not only is my body aching but i'm beginning the itching stage. I'm also peeing like 3-4 times at night, so I wake up super tired! With the itching problem, it's probably caused by my expanding skin and my swollen feet. I had to buy 2 new scandals to last me till the end. I was at a shoe size 7 to 8. I also only have 2 pants that fits. I can't find the other one and I don't want to buy a new one since I only have about a month left. It's been raining today and suppose to tomorrow, I guess I'll have to wear a skirt again. Thank goodness I've only got a week and .5 of work left!!! It'll be nice to just chill at home wear what I want!!! Oh and I"ve decided, i think epidural might be needed for me

9th month-1 of 4 doctors visit Today was my first of 4 visits until baby's out. I'll go straight to the point. She said my protein, blood pressure and baby's heartbeat looks great. So, the swollen ankle is probably due to water retention. She said that probably explains the weight gain. Walking more is not recommended, since it might make me swell some more. There goes that. She also took a "B Strep" exam on me to see if I have this on particular infection. I'm not quite sure what that is. I just hope it comes back negative. She then measured my belly and said that she's a little big for my size and ordered an ultrasound to get a weight and measurement on her. She should measure 33"-37", but for my body size I'm at the high point, 36". I wanted her to be at a decent weight and size, but hopefully she's not terribly big or else I would need a c-section. I plan on getting another ultrasound sometime this week. I'll keep you all posted Oh, by the way...I've dilated 1cm already!!! But, it could remain at 1cmm for a while, so we'll see if i've dilated some more at next weeks appointment. And so it begins...
Group B Strep Exam
Between 35 and 37 weeks, your practitioner will swab your vagina and rectum to check for a common infection called group B strep. If your test is positive, you'll be given antibiotics during labor to help keep you from passing it on to your baby. (If you've had a group B strep urinary tract infection during this pregnancy, you won't need this test because even though the infection was treated, you'll automatically get antibiotics during labor. Likewise, you won't be tested if you've previously had a baby infected with group B strep because you'll automatically be treated during labor. )

Surpise Work Baby Shower!!! Last friday, my work threw me a surprise shower. I couldn't look more like sxxx. I had a rough nite before, so I didn't care what I was wearing and how i was going to look. Besides, it's a friday. This day was the day that my boss wanted to go for a trial run to the hospital. In case i go into labor at work, she wanted to be prepared. With a bit of traffic congestion to Newport, it took us about half an hour. That wasn't too bad. But, I don't know what we can do if it's traffic time. After arriving to the destination, I wanted to have lunch. She said she was not hungry. I said ok, I'll just back at the office and eat there then. I didn't suspect a darn thing. When we got back, her assistance told me that we might have a problem with a project that I was working on. I was nervous, I didn't want anything to go wrong with my files, so i followed her to the conference room. As I open the door, SURPRISE....everyone screamed!!! I was just blown away!!! I haven't had anyone surprising me for so long. I didn't know how react. I thought it was the sweetest thing they could've done for me. I mean they went all out! They had so much homemade foods, drinks, gifts, a cake, ice cream and a chair with balloons all for me. How special they made me feel. That was just too nice of them. They even had Cindy and Alyssa come in! We all ate and then I began opening all the wonderful gifts. My little girl is already so spoiled. We have a lot to be grateful for already. I do work for a great company filled with lots of compassionate women. That's why if i decide to work at home, I'd miss them terribly. With only 2 weeks left before my 3 months off, I didn't think they were going to have a shower for me, so that was indeed a very nice surprise! I'll post some pictures up when I get them from my boss, whom is out of town right now.

My Last Traveling Days This past weekend was officially my last weekend to LA to visit my parents or do anything out there, including attending my brother's wedding in early June. Part of the reason is because baby's already registered in the OC and I want to make sure she's born there. I guess I'll just be chillin over these next few weekends and rest my feet. I will miss my parents and my boys (nephews) until baby's out. I've got 4 weeks left, maybe it won't be too bad. I've also made that decision because weird things have been happening. These past few days, I've had a dizzy spell, seeing stars, swelling on my feet and having a leek down my leg. My water didn't break, but it sure scared me for a moment there. I have a doctor's apt this Tuesday to ask if all this is normal or is it leading up to something? This week will begin my week to week doctor's visit to see if I've dilated. Let me just say that I am soooo glad that I had my shower early. The disadvantage of having it too close to due date is that they tend to get canceled because their baby's out early. I'm hearing it too often now, so no regrets on my end to have it early
