Dear Michele,
Thinking of you.
So, every once in awhile I think to myself...am I ready to be a Mom? Will my motherly instinct magically appear? What about patience...will that miraculously appear too? etc. I was telling my sister (Daryll’s wife) my doubts the other day and she told me that “crazy stuff” kicks in after you have the baby. She said that she did not feel “ready” to be a mom, but the day her daughter was born, maternal instincts, patience, endurance all kicked in. Truly, miraculous. She told me not to worry, it will happen and you will think back and wonder why you were worried about it.
(Considering, I consistently put diapers on backwards and can’t seem to feed my niece without getting the baby food everywhere but in her mouth…I will need a miracle.)
As always, Eric and I cannot stop thinking of you, Joe and Joey! And I can’t wait to put Joey’s diaper on backwards!
Love you too bits,
Beck and Eric

Hey Michele- It looks like we have the same baby's room theme! Great minds think alike...right?! I just saw your photo album, and pregnancy fits you so well. You are such a cute pregnant woman. Unfortuantely, I can't brag on myself the same way. It looks like I'm carrying one child on my stomach, but have yet another one coming out of my chin. Bizzare I know!
And, I can definitely empathize with the sleepless nights. But, like you said...it'll be worth it when I'm actually losing to sleep to my baby that is actually looking back at me. Well, I wish you the best and I hope you get tons of wonderful presents at your shower.
Take care and keep us posted.
