November's Here!! So not much has changed, Thanksgiving is now only three weeks away :-) I can't believe when we first found out we were pregnant, we had an eight week wait ahead of us and now it's down to three! It's gotten much easier. at first keeping the secret seemed impossible, but i'm thinking it might actually feel really strange to finally tell people.
I'm feeling much better, less nauseated, and i actually made it through the evening last night after work without feeling like i had to have a nap. The area below my belly button is getting a little round and feels firm when i push on it because of my uterus expanding. No one can tell when i've got normal clothes on, but i was sitting on the floor last night with our laptop in front of me (working on the grandparents-to-be's Thanksgiving cards;) when joe suddenly looked over and said "Are you getting bigger?" I said, "maybe" and i tried to cover up my belly with what little shirt i had on. Then he got closer and said, "yeees you are, that is the coolest!" and kissed my stomach. I'm glad to see that he is excited about me losing my flat stomach, but i still have to suck it in for another three weeks.
2nd Doc. appointment is next week. Praying for a strong and healthy hearbeat. |
bloated belly I can't wait til i actually feel pregnant instead of just fat. Everyday after lunch, i am so bloated that when i let my stomach go, i swear i look five months pregnant. and i'm only 7 1/2 weeks along! i'm wondering if this bloated feeling ever goes away or if i will experience it throughout the pregnancy. so many random questions to ask, so many experienced women in my life, yet i can't talk to a single one about any of this yet!
maybe if i stopped eating the pumpkin seeds loaded with salt that i roasted this weekend?...... yeah right, that'll never happen. |
