We had a great time at a great restaurant tonight, and the food was soooooooooooooooo freakin' tasty!------my achiness wasn't bad tonight, which was good, and we made it back home safe and sound....

I felt rather.............huge...........sitting there......in a shirt that i'll probably be able to wear for many months, since it poofs out in the front.......thinking about how in a few months our BIG secret would be out......

funny thing is at the table, the subject of kids came up, and J's dad rapidly protested how he is still too young to be anything close to a Grandpa.........uh..........yah..........ok!...lol

John and I just looked at each other with smiles......

Boy are they unaware how their lives are truly about to change........all of our lives

Grandma Marie reminded me about 5011 times to make sure I make it for Christmas Eve.......lol........

omg,

for the last 2 days, i had major pain, so painful i was advised by the tele advise nurse to go to ER, but i didn't.... i did book an urgent care appt yesterday though to get checked out, and as i suspected, nothing was wrong, just normal uterus stretching round ligament growing pains......and lemme tell ya........that crap HURTS!!!!!!!!!! ......

i start work next month, thank goodness i had thur and friday to just chill out because the dull pain on my lower left side was KILLER!...

doc did another ultrasound, and baby is doing just fine.......

anyways gotta go, today is J's b-day and he just got home, going to dinner with his fam and THAT should be interesting.......

LIVING UPDATE

5 min. later - mr. telephone man came back to report line trouble was definitely outside, so i'm safe.......and alive.......and he won't be back in!!.....which reminds me, of a funny story- john's sis told him mom this bogus story of why her phone, which clearly had a disconnect message on it, was out-of-service.......said her CATS chewed the line.....i couldn't believe she'd fall for something so ridiculous....when the story was told to me by john, first thing i said was, how in the heck can indoor cats travel outside, find the designated phone line to their house, and chew that particular line .....only..???? -------sad......and i just couldn't believe ANYONE would fall for such a lame story.

john's phone line mysteriously DIED(no dial tone), so this wacko like repairman is here now, just walked out to go to the main box thinking a squirrel or something could've possibly chewed something to cause a short- but he's like.......so weird!!...so if he comes back and  kills me, and they can't find any suspects, please remember this.......ITS THE SBC PHONE REPAIR MAN!!!!

back to the baby front......

woke up feeling fine and dandy as usual....no sickness ......yet..........boy am i lucky........i'd forget i was pregnant xcept for the daily hot flashes and increased appetite........my sis said she got sick in her 2nd trimesters, and i know each preggo experience is different, but i'm really hoping for smooth sailing along the way for the next 31-32ish weeks.............

i had 2 piece of toast with peanut butter this morning.....and 2night, i'm gonna cook a nice dinner...........

well the wacko will be back at anytime now sooooooooo.........if i'm not back within 48 hours...........you know what to do!!!!!!!

long day today....

started off with my 1st prenatal group appt, 2 hours of wasted time, well not all of a waste - we cracked up when passing the play-doh like embryo and other female body parts around the room(i know, so childish) - but it was funny because the baby kept falling out the uterus....lol......(one of those "ya had to be there" jokes).....

anyhoo

after spending damn near 4 freakin hours in kaiser since i had a follow appointment after the class and my dr was running an hour late, , we went to eat and caught a movie, 4 BROTHERS.....mmm mmm good(thumbs up)!!! - good news on the baby front, everything is looking pretty good(uploaded pic- *see pic gallery).......we saw the fetus in the sackamola......yippie!!! which was good, since 10 days ago, we couldn't see much.......AND........a heartbeat- "boom boom boom!"---and it was beating fast and strong too--- which made John bust out laughin', why i dunno, i kept asking "its just ONE in there right? you only see ONE! right".....and she said it only looks like one thank goodness because I did have my suspecions....--i still have a cyst on the left side, but the doc was almost positive we should see it decrease in size towards the 12th-13th week as the placenta takes over...she said it wasn't a huge cyst anyway, and again, that they are very common.....other than that.......doc assured that everything is looking mighty fine ,,,,,,,,so far,,,,,,,, but don't get too excited she says...we still, based upon my history, have another 6 weeks, before we can really exhaleeeeeeeeeeeee!! - as i have a history, common with many women as i've noticed browsing these journals, of miscarriages, and am almost labeled high risk as i've had 2 in my early childbearing years when i was young, dumb, and married to some slimeball not even worth referencing actually-------so that's why, I keep trying to '"splain"( In a Ricky Ricardo voice) to Mr. John that telling people like.......co-workers you rarely talk to and miscellaneous folks like..........your barber, that you are expecting a child is realllllllllllllly not a grand idea, when i'm not past the final "Cleared Point 1" phase......duh!........but he just doesn't get it! I guess you'd have to experience the reality of a miscarriage to understand that the 1 in 5 chance of a conception making it pass the 13week is actually equivalent to one of your nails breaking on one hand, in a three month period........pretty common right? eh................yah!!...

so then after we saw the movie we cruised through the mall, shopped a little, (*John is becoming fascinated with baby clothes so we headed to Macys and checked out all the super cute name brand infant clothes!! $40 for sean john shirts, gosh we're gonna be sooooooooo broke) then headed out and stopped at a barneysss and nobleysss......and checked out some books......surfed around, then headed home, when I dreadfully remember I had to do some consulting work at this clients house, who ended up not having dsl on her line to begin with, ugh! Earthlinks sucks butt btw, so I have to go back manana........just irritating cause we've been gone since 8am and its now almost 9, and i wasted almost 2 hours fooling around with her comp,,,,,,.......ugh!........so after leaving her house Cranky,,,,,.......i realized that I am, indeed, Cranky today!!!!!!!!

The doc confirmed that today i am 7 weeks and 5 days, and due on March 29th, so I again must update my personal info because I thought I was still six weeks - besides being sick for those few days, i'm still running around symptom free!....buttttt my body totally SUCKSSSSSSS.........how i'm ever going to get it back to.........somewhere close to normal.........will be a miracle in itself......

John just passed gas in here soooooooooo I'm gonna jet outta this room now.........
