Pregnancy Journal

I can't believe that we still have to wait 6 whole weeks until we get to hold and kiss our sweet Audrey Kate!  I had a doctor's appointment on July 1st.  According to the doctor - everything looks great!!  What a blessing!  I have been feeling pretty good - except that I get tired quickly, my back is starting to hurt a little, and it is soooooo hot here in Texas!!  It makes me want to move to Alaska just for the next six weeks to cool off.  I don't think that Wesley will go for that one! 

The nursery is coming together nicely.  All we need is a sweet baby girl to use it!  I have put pictures in the photo section of her sonograms -- so feel free to take a peek at our little cutie!  We continue to pray for a healthy baby and a quick and easy delivery. 

Last Saturday we had a 3D sonogram.  It was sooooo amazing!!!  YOu could see her chubby cheeks and her cute little nose.  She waved her hand at us and was even playing with her feet!!  I am in love with her already!! I just wanted to give her a kiss!!  I couldn't get the DVD to play on the computer and I am having trouble uploading the pictures -- but I will keep trying. 

We are still counting down the weeks -- just about 9 weeks now and getting closer all the time.  I can't believe how amazing it is that this small being was created and is growing inside me.  God sure does wonderful things and I feel so blessed to have partnered with Him in this.  I can't wait to meet her and share her with all of you. 

By the way -- in case you haven't heard -- her name is Audrey Kate!!

Well -- as of this Saturday -- I will be in my third trimester -- YIPPEE!!!  Now it is definitely getting hotter -- and I am definitely getting bigger -- I am suppossed to gain a pound a week and grow about 1/2 inch a week form now on -- that is another 14 pounds and 7 inches -- uugggghhhh -- I am going to be HUGE!!! 

She is kicking alot now -- and starting to have times when she is awake and asleep -- she makes me laugh too -- we went to a movie the other day and she was kicking the whole time -- she was definitely feeling the vibrations or hearing the movie -- it was so cute!  Wes enjoys feeling her kick and she gets more excitied when she hears him sing!! 

I found out from the last blood test that I was a little anemic.  I have been taking some iron supplements and I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER!!!  I have energy again!!!  Yippee!!!

I am so excited to see her sweet face but I know I will have to be patient so she can finish baking.  I pray everyday that she would be a powerful woman of God....oh and we picked a name --

she will be Audrey Kate Roe!!   sooooo cute!
