The Roe Curse has been broken!!
Well....Ladies and Gentlemen -- It is official!  The Roe Curse has been broken.  Baby Roe  is a GIRL!!!  I know what some of you are saying -- "Roe's are all boys...are you sure?"  The sonographer said "There it is!"  and we said "what!" and he said "It's a girl!  I am 100% positive that this is a Girl" -- WOW!  Wesley and I are so excited.  We also found out that everything looks very healthy -- Praise the LORD!!  20 more weeks until our sweet baby girl arrives!

The end of the first trimester!

Well - the end of the first trimester is officially here.  THANK GOD!!!!  The sickness and vomiting has slowed down tremendously -- I never realized how thankful I can be just to feel normal during the day.  I love not having to run to the nearest bathroom, sink, or trashcan - or even pull over to the side of the road.  What a blessing it is to keep your food down!!!

Wes and I are so excited to find out what we are having we can hardly wait.  We found out at our last doctor's visit that our doctor does not do another ultrasound until 20 weeks.  Some are doing ultrasounds at 16 weeks -- but not mine!!!  So 6 weeks from now we will find out if it is a Baby Roe or a Baby Roette.  Most votes at this point are that it is a boy -- so please put in your votes and let me know what you think it will be -- I have felt from the beginning that it was a girl and that she will have brown curls like her father -- but I am usually wrong about things like this and am ready to enjoy whatever blessing God has planned for us.  But who knows!!!  I just wanted it to be in writing -- just in case my feeling is right :) -

We have another new addition to our family.  We adopted sweet Annie from the Humane Society.  She is a yellow lab/golden retriever mix.  She is 1 1/2 and such a good dog.  We have had her almost 3 weeks, and I love her!!!  She is so good for me.  She takes me for walks everyday and keeps me laughing and smiling!  I can't wait to introduce her to Baby Roe.  I hope that they will be the best of friends.

More to come soon .....

Say Cheese!
Today was our first doctor's appointment.  I love our doctor!!!  She is absolutely fabulous!  She did an ultrasound, and we got to take home pictures of our little piece of heaven.  I cannot believe that something as small as a lima bean will one day be a full grown adult.   We got to see the heartbeat too.  It was beating so fast and was so cool.  And to think that God knew this little one even before He knit the baby in my womb --- God truly is amazing!!   I can't wait to see what he has in store for us.  Continue to pray for teeny tiny Baby Roe!!

Pregnancy Blues
The last few weeks have been hard.  I am hungry all the time and easily become sick especially around lunch time.  I also get car sick a lot even when I drive!!!  I know -- that sounds totally crazy!!  Wesley has been so supportive.  He is always making sure that I feel okay and even gets dinner ready for me so I can eat right when I get home.

We have our first prenatal appointment tomorrow.  I am so excited!!  I pray that the doctor tells us that everything looks good and that the baby is healthy and has a strong heartbeat.  I think that it will be such a relief and make everything sooooo real.  I am so glad that Wesley will be going to the appointment with me -- although I made him promise to stay near my head!   I am going to bring our digital camera -- I don't even know if there will be anything to take a picture of --- but I will be ready just in case.  I will keep you updated.  Lift up lots of prayers for Baby Roe!!!
