Well we are now halfway through Kiersten's first vacation!  She has done okay so far.  Turns out she doesn't like car trips at all though.  She falls asleep right after the car starts but after an hour and half she gets quite mad and wakes up screaming.  She definitely doesn't enjoy sitting in her car seat that long.  We ended up having to take turns in the backseat which was rather uncomfortable with all of the stuff we had packed back there and the dogs!  We definitely need to get a bigger car sooner than anticipated. 

   We had a good time in Enigma though.  Kiersten got to hang out with Granny, Ronnie, and Aunt Ashley.  She also got to meet Aunt Sara, Uncle Steve, and their kids for the first time.  She loved being held and rocked by Granny and Ronnie and sitting outside on the porch rocking chairs.  She also got to meet her Uncle Brent and Aunt Erin.  Although Uncle Brent was initially against even touching the baby, he was asking to hold her by the end of our stay.  It was great to see Brent safe at home and to hang out with him again. 

  We also had the opportunity to drive over to visit his Nanny and Bob.  SHe cooked a wonderful lunch and got to meet Kiersten for the first time.  Aunt Dara and Ryder had also driven in to meet the baby.  Kiersten was just making the rounds!  She has enjoyed having so many people to snuggle with. 

  Today we begin the second half of our vacation in Jacksonville.  The trip certainly wasn't pleasant though.  Campbell decided to go swimming in the pond right as we were packing the car, and smelled accordingly.  Dixie decided to get diarrhea during the trip which was one of the worst smells I've ever encountered.  The baby then woke up crying at the end of the trip as well.  Fun times!

  We're excited to be in FL though.  TOns more people for Kiersten to meet.  Nana and Papa are beyond thrilled to get to visit with her as well.  We'll post more when we get home and put up some pictures as well.  Hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day weekend.
