I found out I was pregnant when I:
took a pregnancy test while Ryan was back home for the weekend. I hadn't been feeling pregnant at all but Ryan was home for the weekend, and was getting ready to leave again for two weeks. I decided to go ahead and test while he was around, on the off chance I was pregnant. Lo and behold, I was!

I felt:
really surprised at first. Then really excited. We had just started trying for a baby and hadn't really planned on being successful right away. We have both wanted to start our family and couldn't be happier.

The first person I told was:
Ryan. He didn't even know I was going to test. He was outside cleaning out the Hedgehogs cage for me.

They reacted by:
Ryan was stunned at first. He didn't say anything for a few minutes. Then he got a huge smile and wrapped me up in a hug. He is thrilled!

My baby will be born:
in April. It will be quite a busy month! Ryan and I both have our birthdays in April, in addition to quite a few other family members.

My hopes:
are just to have a happy, healthy baby. We would like at least one boy and girl so either way we would be happy. Ryan has stated though that we are going to keep having kids until we have a boy, so it would be nice to go ahead and have that boy first!
