it's a start of another work week...

i started my day at the office, as usual, by checking mails first and logging in AsCII to check new posts and greet everyone...sa AsCII, pagbukas ko ng "My Home", a forum wherein members can create their personal blog site, nakita ko ang isang edited photo para kay Thea, na gawa ni Nhile..

nakachat ko din c Shant, my long time online pal from Canada. we shared the joys of motherhood, kumustahan...  4.5 month old boy naman ang baby nya.

i need to render overtime  (este overtawad) later, para matapos ang pending job ko...mamimiss ko na naman si baby Thea ko... gabi na rin kasi ako nakauwi nung Friday coz I attended a barangay dialogue...

btw, i posted the photo I mentioned earlier... cute di ba? kakatuwa ang hair ni Thea, nagmukha nga lang syang boy hehehe

Thea, together with her cousins went to the mall last Saturday. Actually, it was a treat from her Tita Emie, who arrived from Taiwan.  At 4pm, we went to the Marketplace, where the kids really enjoyed at the mall's Kiddie Wonderland.... race car, bump car and Aladdin ride. Thea experienced her first ride at the Aladdin, with her Ate Celyn holding her...

And then we ate at McDonalds...

The kids really had fun.. haaay! how I wish Thea is already big enough para makigulo na sa mga pinsan nya...

       A baby born with tooth is uncommon. Since it is so rare parents often worry a great deal about the tooth. A tooth that exists when a baby is born is called a neonatal tooth. Baby teeth begin forming when the baby is still in the womb. Sometimes the teeth just develop faster. Unless the tooth is loose it is not something you should really worry about too much although it is still a good idea to see a dentist to help determine what course of action should be taken.

       In rare instances a baby born with tooth can actually have a spare tooth. That tooth that has already erupted, that the baby is born with, actually formed over the baby teeth that have yet to come in. The tooth is most often a bottom front tooth. If the tooth is an extra tooth it will fall out eventually when the real baby tooth is coming in but in some cases it may need to be removed. This will especially help with breast feeding the child.

       Just as a baby born with tooth is rare, a baby without teeth by the age of 1 is rare. This could be the symptom of a metabolic disorder or the teeth could just be particularly stubborn. Tooth eruption of the baby first tooth normally occurs around 6-7 months of age. The first baby tooth is normally at the front of the mouth, with later teeth coming in and working their way towards the back of the mouth.

ang tagal kong di nagpost... more than 2 months

well, my baby Yasmin Althea or Thea as we fondly call her, just turned 2 months yesterday.

i haven't told you her birth story  nga pala noh? my baby girl was born last April 25, 2006 at 7:04 a.m at the FYM Memorial Puericulture and Maternity Center in San Juan, Metro Mla. She weighed 5.1 lbs.

di naman ako gaanong nahirapan sa panganganak. we went to the lying-in, 9pm last april 24. i felt pain the whole day at may konting spot ng blood na rin, kaya niyaya ko na husband ko... unfortunately, after undergoing internal examination, 1 cm pa lng daw ako. so pinauwi muna kami. pero pagdating sa bahay di na talaga ako pinatulog. magdamag akong nag-labor. kaya around 6:30am pumunta na ulit kami dun... 6:45am nasa delivery table na ako, then 7:04, lumabas na si Thea...ang bilis no?

now, at 2 months, nakakatuwa na sya...tumatawa na, kita nyo naman sa pictures nya di ba

she visited the doctor three times already.  A week after she was born, she was brought to the hospital for the newborn screening and the result was normal. She was already  vaccinated for BCG, DPT and Hepa  at isang oral - yung oral polio vaccine. Her next doctor's appointment will be on July 19 for the next shots of vaccine. kawawa sya nitong last nyang vaccination eh.. 3 ba naman sabay sabay. magkabilang hita yung DPT at Hepa tapos yung oral nga... so nilagnat sya, though its normal... naawa kami kasi namaga yung kaliwang hita nya for three days. iyak ng iyak, di makatulog ng maayos. buti na lang gumaling agad dahil maya't maya ko sya hina- hot compress.

first day ko ngayon sa work after 2 months of maternity leave... parang ayaw ko syang iwanan kaninang umaga... good thing i need not worry a lot  coz nandun ang mother-in-law ko to take care of my little girl.
