My pregnancy classes are:
Finished! We had one all-day class on March 11, 2006.
In the classes, I've learned how to:
It was mostly informative and relaxed, somewhat a reality check for what to expect.
What I've bought for you so far:
Diapers, some onesies (light green of course!), a 6 month University of Michigan sweatsuit for College Football season with Daddy starting in September! Oh and a crib, dresser, glider & ottoman, not to mention some other odds & end stuff....that won't be it, either!
What other people have bought for you:
Stuffed animals (Grandma & Grandpa Sisler, Markita, Liliana & Joshua), froggie bathrobe (Grandma & Grandpa Steinhelper), Winnie the Pooh outfit (Aunt Steph), Aquarium Bouncer (Pat W), I know there is more, but I can't think of it right now! We had a shower on 4/8, and got a TON of wonderful things. Too much to name, but we are much more prepared now...
The strangest food craving I've had during this pregnancy is:
Nothing too crazy - food just tastes BETTER in general. Oh and I love tomatoes all of a sudden. HATED them before pregnancy, cannot get enough of them now! That and Honeydew Melon....again, hated before pregnancy, LOVE IT now!
The strangest piece of advice I've gotten since this pregnancy started is:
Not advice really, just strangers coming up to me and asking to touch my belly. Or simply bypassing the asking, and just touching! Eeekk!
At my prenatal visit, I learned:
Placenta is still 50% previa, meaning I might have to have a c-section.
My hopes:
That the placenta will move & I can have a natural birth. But if not, nothing is lost. We still get to hold you in our arms!
My fears:
Recovery time....but I know it can't last forever. And the recovery is more than worth it for our child!
