Ok, I can say I'm 30 weeks... since tomorrow marks the spot. I had a pretty eventful day! I got to say Hi to our baby Tommy!!!! I had to go in for a blood test at the doctor's this morning cause I got a call monday saying I had a low platelet count, and they wanted to retest to see if it comes back normal. It has something to do with clotting which worries me since Tonya lost a baby because of clotting in the placenta, but I will address my concerns to my doctor at my next visit which is next week.

I had alot of errands to run today, got rid of some clothes I dont wear anymore and had to take back some things to walmart and target. Then, at 6pm it was our scheduled ultraound "just for fun" I thought it might help me get through the next 10 weeks if I got to see him, plus I was curious to see what he looks like. I also wanted Chris to get excited about it, since he doesn't get to experience the movement of the baby everyday. It was so great!!! But Tommy wasn't coperating "little stinker" I think the nurse was getting frustrated too... we didn't get that great of pictures cause he had his head back and it was hard to see... He had my placenta and other things in front of his face as well and he just wouldn't move to a good position. They got me up and had me drink a coke, but still didn't work very well... I was still glad to see him. He yawned once, and waved... always had his hand in his face.... but he seemed sleepy... We thought he had a big nose.. kinda like daddy... but we will see... and mommy's chubby cheeks!! He is very darling and definitely a boy!! we had her check again! His little heart beat was 150. We got lots of pictures put on cd and have a dvd in real time to watch.. I will probably have one of the 3D's put in a big frame and hang it in the hallway.... so I can remember this special time that Tommy was in mommy's belly. I can't wait to meet him! The Wait is On!

I'll actually be 29 weeks tomorrow.. my appts. are kinda off. Now I am going to the doctor's every 2 weeks, I can't believe how close I'm getting! The glucose test wasn't to bad.. the drink was very orange and sugary.... I hope I pass! I saw the scariest thing while waiting for my blood to be drawn. I guess they have moved the labor and delievery to the OB area, so this women comes in while in severe labor.. her husband was freaking out and the nurses were acting like it was no big deal. Meanwhile I was scared to death seeing her in that much pain and thinking in a few short months I'll be there as well! I almost started crying but I held it in.. I've never seen anything like it!  anyways, This appt went well... I weigh 155 now, so I have gained about 4 pounds in 2 weeks.. yikes! The baby kept moving while listening to the heartbeat.. kinda funny! and my blood pressure kinda low but they said nothing to be worried about. So that's it! Just waiting on my glucose test results..We shall see....

I just got back from my 27 week prenatal visit and it went well I think... the only thing is my weight! I was at 151 lbs today and that means I have gained 7 pound in 4 weeks since my last visit. She said to cut back on sweets and that might help.. but I realy don't think it's food related.. all this weight is in my tummy area... but I'll see what I can do. The baby had a good and steady heart rate and in the middle of listening he turned and we could hear him better... it was so cute to hear him turn!

I start my 2 week visits now which seem like alot.. but oh well.. I get my Gestational diabetes test in 2 weeks too.. so hopefully that goes well.

This has been a long day.. I went to buy maternity clothes and got about 5 pieces that fit ok.. still not perfect but what can you do.. and then I waited in the doctor's office for like 30 min at the end of the day.. it sucked.. but I'm glad it's over with.. I'm gonna eat some pizza and watch a movie.. and enjoy the little one moving around.
