weight: 7lbs 9oz (small little guy, but caugt up on is weight!)
More like 3 week checkup whoops!Well Tommy had his first well baby check up with Dr. Coil.... He was a good 7lbs 9oz!! Thant means he is eating good. The snorting, and sneezing he said was normal... but I need to work on the burping. His height is 50% which is normal and his weight is a little below average but thats because he was a little early, and his head circumfrance what average too! He had to peel back Tommy's circumision cause it was starting to rehook. that was horrible to see, but they say sometimes they do that for the first year. Not much else went on... everything looked good... His jaundice is still there but said we would keep an eye on it... said it was weird that it showed up 12 days after delivery, but it should be fine and die down, just takes time. Can't believe he is 3 weeks already! He had a very quiet day today... just awake and alert.. and slept alot.... He is such a good baby, he makes the funniest faces sometimes! I can't wait till he starts sleeping through the night cause I really need to catch up!

Thomas' weight I got Thomas weighed since I'm breastfeeding and not sure how much he is gaining and at 1 week 5days he was up to 6lbs 10 oz so thats almost a pound since he went home from the hospital at 5lbs 13 oz. He is doing great except he has a little jaundice... Im upset that I didnt take him in sooner but I guess it isnt that bad... I took him in for a blood test today... and the results came back elevated so I have to take him to the hospital tomorrow cause its saturday to get another test to see if its going down. if its not the will have to put a light on him so it goes away. His poor little foot it takes forever for them to get enough blood out of his foot.... I hope everything goes well and it goes down. Steph leaves tomorrow, not sure what I'll do without her, but I think Im ready for things to get on track with our family. Still wish I had more sleep but I'll get through it... sleep when he sleeps. he is still so precious and little... gonna give him another bath tonight with some lotion on him cause I forgot last time. Well, time for some sleep before he wakes up again... cant wait till he starts sleeping through the night!

Tommy's umbilical cord fell off!
Only 9 days old and his cord already fell off... I must have done a good job puting rubbing acholol on it! I didnt seem to do it very often... but the last day or 2 he was kinda hanging by a thread and kinda leaking some blood and yellow stuff... but it seems fine now and his belly button is so cute... I can;t wait to give him his first real bath!!! I might do it tonight cause it was hot and he got sweaty today. I only had to give him 3 sponge baths since he was born.. one on 5/20 5/23 5/25.. of course the hospital gave him a real bath the day he was born... anyways... just noting to milestones... so exciting!!!! Iwant him to stay little forever though... he was in a hurry to get out of me and to get out of me and his attachment umbilical cord off... but he's a big boy... holding his neck up and rolling a little. such a big boy!!!! I love him!!!

A week old!!! Update on Tommy!
Well, Tommy is over a week old and doing wonderful! The nights have been a little rough, but managable, I guess I;m getting used to ne sleep, and I really didn't get much anyways when I was 9 months pregnant cause I had to potty all the time. It has been really nice to have him home, and I really enjoy his company! My sis is here another week to help me...its nice to have someone help you out, expecially when your still sore down there. Tommy is starting a schedule where he sleeps all day.... wakes up for daddy around 5 when he gets home and goes back to sleep.. he usually sleeps up to 3 hours.... but then at night he can be up for about 2 hours, so thats hard.. still working on how to get him sleeping at night... but it;'s usually around 2-4 that he's up, but last night he did good and just woke up to eat... and was up at 5 to 7... so not as bad. He loves sleeping with mommy(I know, bad bad) but he wont sleep in the bassinet.. he squirms all night and then starts crying.. i just figure since he's so little and still wasn't supossed to be due yet that it's fine.. and we'll work on it... i just love to cuddle with him. He is such a good baby.. only cries at diaper changes or if he gets to hungry...He doesn't see very good and looks all around, it's cute... such beautiful eyes... last night we sat and I nursed in his room and we listened to music I started to cry cause I remember listening to lots of songs when I was pregnant with him.. and it made me miss it.. but so glad he is here now... I try not to go backwards... who know.. maybe we will have more some day.. I think daddy would like that!
