Well I might go back to work next week if T would take the bottle! I had tried it early on(about 6 weeks) and he took it for awhile and then I didnt do it anymore because I was home so I just EB. Welll now I have to get him to take the bottle so I can go to work and its a no go! HE is stubborn just like his mommy!!!  so here is what it looked like....

Day 1: Gave it late morning and chewed on it like a toy, spit out any that was in his mouth.

Day 2: Gave it morning again.... did the same... then let DH feed him and he spit that out too!

Day 3: Late morning again.... wouldn't even let me put it in his mouth, so he is getting worse!!! I will try tomorrow when he is really hungry... looks like I wont be going back to work, or he will starve!

Day 4: Gave up for the day!

Day 5: Pumped in the morning, waited for him to wake up (7 hours without eating... still wouldnt take the bottle... ate a ton out of my engorged breast!

I'd have to say I am not going to work!!! Last day to find out is tomorrow, I will not feed him for 5 hours and let DH feed him.. and see what happens!

Day 6- no go! Kinda happy.. not really ready to go back to work anyways! Thanks Tommy! Anyways... I tried not BFing him and just let Chris give him the bottle with me not around... he went 3 hours without taking it... and I'm sure he would of gone longer(stubborn guy) bit we just couldn't do it anymore... the parents gave in! He was just a little fussy. So we decided that I would just stay home. Tommy wins!

4 month stats:

Head circ: 16 in

height: 26 in ( I think he was more 25 in)

Weight: 15 lbs

Tommy had his 4 month appt today... exactly the day he turned 4 months! IT went good, had alot of questions this time for the doctor, like about his scalp (looks like he has some craddle cap, he said to shampoo with head and shoulders) I asked about the trip to CO, he said everything should be fine, Taking a bottle when I go back to work Oct 4th, he said he wont starve, I guess I worry to much!!!!  Anyways, I was there for an hour and a half, they are so slow sometimes but he got the same shots he did at the 2 month appt and he did not like that at all, the oral stuff they put in his mouth he did not liked ans screamed and then the 3 shots were horrific!!! I have never heard him scream so loud! He didnt like that at all!!! Finally he settled down and went to sleep in the car I had to run a few errands! Of course the lady at the counter of the doctors office got Tommy's name mixed up and so she had to call me and tell me there was another Thomas there and got our sheets mixed up... hope that copay didnt get mixed . HIs weight was 15 lbs even and Height was 26 in.... 75 percentile!!! yeah! He is going to be a tall boy! The others were average! The next appt. is for 6 months!

well in 4 months! maybe longer cause towards the end of my pregnany I coulnd't sleep either because I was uncomfy and had to pee all the time! Anyways... I had to work for that sleep! he wouldn't go to bed....usually he goes to bed by 10 or before.. well I din't get him to sleep until 12:30 am.. crazy! He just kept crying if I put him down... well he is officially in his own crib now.. and so I put him down finally and he slept till 9!!! thats 8 1/2 hours of sleep!!! yeah! I was happy that he could sleep that long without a feeding and that I got some good sleep.. of course I was up at 3am for his feeding! haha.. and another time to check on him... I just couldn't believe it! Probably from being so tired and staying up! I saw that he squirmed a bit cause he was in the middle of the crob. I usually keep him at the top on the side. So now that I know he can sleep that long... i expect it! Probably not going to happen! He is now taking 2 or 3 naps a day.. one being about 2-3 hours and the other 2 1 hour naps... but thats ok.

He had his first real laugh today... usually he gives out a small laugh like a squal.. but today.. we went shopping and we were out for awhile so I fed him in the car at linens n things and I was kinda playing with him afterwards and he really laughed.. like a hahaha.. he has the cutest laugh ever!!!

ps.. I went to the mall and am starting back to work on Oct 4th at the Studio... so thats 4 1/2 months after delivery! I had a great maternity leave with a good end which is going to CO on Vacation.. now it is time to suck it up and go back to work.. will be a nice little break only on the weekends! Keep hubby happy too!!!
