I don't feel fine! Well, we're in day three of morning (or should I say morning, noon, and night) sickness. I'm not throwing up, but I have been nauseous for three days straight!
I'll try not to let it slow me down though. Of course I'm working, and with Christmas in a week, we have alot to do. Presents to buy, and to wrap (yay! My favorite!), trips to Michigan...
Tiki doesn't seem to notice any difference yet, except that I seem to be in possession of alot more oyster crackers, and she likes that. She also seems to like the fact that I am taking more naps so it gives her someone to nap with. She probably doesn't like that I'm not playing with her as much, I'm just so tired. They say that animals have some kind of intuition about these things. Well if she does, then she doesn't seem to care because she still thinks its fine to pounce on my stomach when she wants me to throw her ball (as if it was ok before I was pregnant.) |
It's been confirmed! We have confirmation! I went to the doctor for a once over yesterday. He had me take another pregnancy test. He told me that in his professional, medical opinion there is indeed a line there. (As if the line that we saw wasn't "official" enough.) I now have a serious case of pregnancy.
I have scheduled my first appointment with the midwives clinic that I decided to go with. A couple of my friends had their babies delivered by one of the midwives at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park. It's a little far from where I live, but according to them, is well worth it. Here's a link to their website: http://www.westsubmidwives.com/
We still haven't told everyone since it is so early on, so, well, you know.

Big news! Well guess what! Yesterday Mitch and I took this little test and passed! We're gonna have a baby! We're so excited! Only 35 weeks left!
I'm a little tired and inexplicably hungry at weird times, but I'm not sure - it might be jet-lag (having just returned from Japan last week). And I'm still trying to kick this little cold that's been lingering since I was in Japan too. It just seems to want to stick around and keep me awake at night. |
